Coloured pasta

This may be a really silly question but I'll ask anyway...

I know pasta is free but yesterday I had the coloured pasta twirls and started to doubt myself thinking oil was maybe used to dye the pasta the green and red colour - is it still syn free?

Ideas? Thanks in advance

All dried pasta is free on SW. The colouring comes from vegetables - spinach for green and tomatoes for red.

Panicked when I saw the title of this lol as we only ever have the tri colour fussilli. Thank goodness its free. Bloomin kids won't eat the plain stuff

I'm glad you asked this I just came on to find out as the kids had me buying scooby doo coloured dry pasta and I wondered if I could have it.

You can also get black pasta - it's coloured with squid ink!
