Conor's Weight-Loss Diary

Welcome to the WW boards even if you find yourself mainly surrounded by women. You've done really well so far and I hope you get the stone up next week before your hols. Remember though to come back after the hols that will be the challenge

Good luck

mmm, a tough one, you really do need to use most if not all of your points as it will slow down your weight loss if you dont. try adding to your meals like maybe a peice of fruit or a yoghurt with you breakfast, or some low fat crisps with your sandwich at lunchtime. if i have any spare points i might have a glass of wine or a beer in the evening. there are lots of ways you can sneak little extras in

Still going well. Have tried putting apples and yoghurts with my meals to use up my points, and was only left with a couple spare today which is an improvement. I treated myself to a nice dinner tonight, WW oven chips and a nice piece of fish which I put on a paper towel to soak up the fat.

Only 3 days to go till my weigh-in...I'd be happy with 3.5 pounds lost to be honest, as that'd be my 5% target done and dusted, but with a 4.5 loss I would be over the moon!

Hi Conor Im a 22 yr male student in London. Congrats on doing so well with WW so far, and hope the weigh in was OK!

I am considering starting WW and wanted to know whether it has affected uni life, in terms of socialising at all? I was on an eating plan a few years ago and it was miserable to go out, and hoping WW will be what Im looking for!!

Thanks

Hi new me,

The good thing about weight watchers is there is no food you can't have. As long as you stay in your points allowance you can have anything you want. I've been saving my points so I can go on nights out and not worry what I'm drinking. No word of a lie, WW is the best thing I've ever done for myself!

Hope you do join, would be nice to have another lad around here!

Conor :)

hi conor!!

just been reading this thread, well done, youve lost so much weight in so little time!!bet your well excited for your hols now :O)

take care and keep up the good work x

Hello my lovely lasses.

I got back from being on hols for nearly 3 weeks yesterday, and I had my weigh-in this eve. I gained 1/2 a pound, which, to be honest, I was surprised at, because I walked LOADS, and I feel like I've lost.

My leader kept saying well done, and apparently most people gain 3-5 pounds when on holiday so I did OK. I'm going for a major loss next week so am going to up the exercise a bit.

Hope you're all well,
Conor. x

Hiya

well done on only 1/2lb in 3 weeks of hols - that is fab - I've been known to put 5lb on in 1 week of hols !!!!! ok - so I am a pig......................

Good luck for next weeks weigh in.

Bev

Hi Conor - sorry, only just found you!

Well done on such a brilliant start - and to only gain half a pound when on holiday for 3 weeks is totally amazing. You should be really proud of yourself.

sounds like you have this points stuff sorted. Saving up for treats is definitely the way to stay on track I think. x

how did your WI go then? well done on only 1/2 a pound on when on holiday - thats excellent stuff!

hardest part though is getting back to it after holidays - in the same boat as you, or i was a few weeks back when i came home.. i'm just getting back into it now - hopefully you will manage sooner than me and without a gain like i have..

hope you've had a good week :) x

Wow - just read through this and I just wanted to say - well done! It's so inspirational to hear how well other people are doing with their weight loss. Hope your WI went well.

Hi guys, hope you don't mind me dragging up this thread, thought it'd be better than starting a new one...

I left WW in August because I moved abroad to study. By that point I'd lost 24 pounds. 8 months of living on bread and pasta has taken its toll, and I put on 15 pounds by when I rejoined yesterday. I'm still a good bit lighter than I was when I started last year, but have a loooong way to go.

At the moment, I'm 18 stone 5, which was a bit of a shock for me, but like was explained to me at WW was that I'm only so much because I'm muscly (I used to weightlift when I was at college) so I don't have as much to lose as someone normally would at 18 stone 5. First of all, I want to lose 3 stone in the next 4 months at least, anything over that is a bonus.

I'm going to start posting here again to make myself more accountable, so hope you don't mind me dragging up this thread!
