Cookie's diary to be joyously slim

Good afternoon all.

Work now complete until New Years Day so feeling pretty good about that, hello to 4 days off!
We've topped up some groceries this morning and we're off out for a festive afternoon tea, wish I could say I'm back on plan 100% but actually just doing about 80% yesterday I could feel the difference in my tummy.

Food is extra easy
Breakfast = melon, pineapple, 2 soft boiled eggs

Snack = scan bran bun (2) latte (a)

Lunch = afternoon tea (b) & syns!

Dinner = left over lamb curry with rice, butternut squash, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower

That's all I know. Hope everyone is well xx

Hello, oh my I'm struggling a bit this week, I keep eating over my syns, 24 yesterday, God knows how many on Sunday! I'm hoping I can stick to 15 today so wish me luck! I'm dating pretty good meals well I did yesterday but the snacks and wine, I've rediscovered my love of good wine but I hate it as it makes me want to eat more and I'm such a light weight with the drink too.

Today I'm planning on 15 Syns like I said earlier, got a mushy pea curry in the slow cooker all SP foods but I'm definitely having fruit cake for pudding. I can't not eat it, it so good and there just enough to finish off today. I'm hoping as I'm easing into the plan little by little that by New Year's Day or rather wi on 3/1/15

Had a good time last night we had our first guests round to our house for dinner, we've only had family round since the conversion and whilst there's still work to do but it was so nice. Amanda & Paul don't eat a lot so food was pretty easy

Breakfast = satsumas & melon (s) pineapple, kiwi (f)

Lunch = scrambled eggs (p), beans, tomatoes (s), 1/2 toast (2) ketchup (1)

Snack = satsumas, (s) scan bran (b) yogurt (f) Pringles (2) advent choc (1) we're only on 17th!

Dinner = iceland pub grub chicken stuffed cheese & ham (1.5), new potatoes (f) spinach, tomato, cucumber, carrots, butternut squash (s), Mayo (0.5), garlic bread bite (2.5)

Afters = wine (6), fruit cake (10)

Total syns = 24.5
Hea = none
Heb = scan bran

It is hard babe, but we will pull it back, I'm not putting too much pressure on myself yet... xx

I'm just to mean to bin the food and it's not making me sick. Secretly I'm enjoying it, not the choccies as there's always some in but the cake is delicious. We've got panettone in too but it's got a long shelf life so there's no rush

I liked your post cause you are still counting the syns, and I think that keeps some element of control to the plan. This time of year is hard, I can't waste any food so put the friut loaf in the freezer, but I've got cream that needs using up & that means having sinful things with it, it just takes time to get back to normal, whatever that may be!!!! X
 
Happy your so right, anyway today has been not too bad so far! I don't think I'll be doing any full SP days this week but the new plan has made me re-think my fruit. I've still got grapes, kiwi, blueberries, bananas & fat free yogurts and I don't want to waste any of those. However shopping I made a point of buying satsumas, apples & plums so I may give SP a try one day next week.

Food today :-

Breakfast = satsuma & raspberries (s), grapes & blueberries (f)

Lunch = scan bran (b) banana & blueberries (f) strawbs, rasp, blackberries (s) yogurt (f)

Snack = latte (a) Apple (s) & kiwi (f)

Dinner = mushy pea curry (s), rice & plantain (f) naan (3), spinach, carrot, tomato, cucumber (s)

Total syns = 13 so far 2 left to eat!
Hex a = milk
Hex b = scan bran

My my first day under 15 syns, going to stay strong if I can and not eat anything else unless I'm hungry. Actually not sure if I've had any P foods unless beans are a P?

Oh thanks acc! I couldn't remember and still haven't moved from the sofa to check. Curry was lovely it looks like a meat curry as its so dark but it's all veg. Looking at it I've technically had a green day on the old plan I didn't realise before. How did you get on at Starbucks with your bad lattes? Xx

Thanks ladies, that helps, I'm pleased to announce that I'm still on 13 syns

Tomorrow for New Year's Eve, we are going out in the afternoon into Manchester for a 3 course lunch at Rosso's, table is booked for 2pm. I'll be having a little wine too or a glass of prosecco. Not sure what else after that! X
