Cooking sauces?

Can anyone recommend any low syn cooking sauces ? I am trying so hard to make home made dishes but I really am just a useless cook everything I cook just never turns out quite right! I made a casserole today but the sauce just ruined it .. Any recommendations of packet sauces would be highly appreciated! X

Hi, I am finding this too - keep trying different recipes, and many are just yuck! I think the weight watchers jars are about 7 - 8 syns for whole jar. Don't know about packet mixes. Kayte

I think some of the colmans powdered packet sauces are quite low. Also low fat dolmio (or dolmio light I think its called) is about 10 syns a jar so not to bad if splitting between 3/4 people.
