Can someone please tell me whats to stop me from using my three daily packs for cooking i.e crisps, muffins?
I find the diet easier when I cook them (it's a chewing thing) and I don't wat to have to AAM just to satisfy my craving to chew.

    Hiya Kelly

I used to "nuke" a pack a day when I did the diet and make the fudge and found it really useful.

The official guidance though is to avoid doing it because by "cooking" the packs you are damaging the nutrients in them and changing the balance of them, I know that Cambridge used to say that if you were going to cook a pack then no more than 1 a day but last time I asked the question I was told to recommend to clients that they didn't do cooking full stop.

What if I went to 4 packs a day (currently on 3) would it be enough to give me back the nutrients lost in cooking?
