Coping with trips away

Jane1982, I like the way you think. 1 week a year is not worth worrying about. Just remember the diet will still be here when you get back as long as you do go back to it. And any weight you may put on, well, at least you'll already have lost some weight before you go, so will be starting off thinner! Hope you get what I mean!

I like the 'its a once a year'. I agree with this, so in some respects you do have to make the most of it, but do you really need fancy and extravagent food to make the best of a trip away?
 
shelz, don't think you do need fancy and extravagant food when your away to make the best of holiday, but when I'm away I always like to taste and try the local food - which sometimes isn't always the healthiest and is sometimes dessert. I think as long as you don't go too mad, whats the harm, providing you get right back on it when you get home.
