Countdown to a skinny bunny :)

Heya!! I know, I had it again with wedges last night, it's just so easy to make and soooo yummy!! Think I might have it again tomorrow, but syn the pitta so I can have my HExB's throughout the day. Unless the OH has a nice dinner up his sleeve lol.

I'm doing a Primary PGCE, so training to be a general Primary teacher... but as I'm lucky enough to have a music degree (a subject some primary teachers dread lol) I'm hoping once I'm qualified, that I'll have an edge over other NQT's (newly qualified teachers) when job hunting :) But, until then... I've got 18 weeks of placement and 3 4,000 word assignments to tackle lol!!

And thank you :D i feel a bit different in myself... and I think I can see a bit of a difference. Maybe in a few weeks it'll be even more noticeable!

I work in primary school, teach year 6 and we were told this week that Music now has to be reported to government (or similar, i was listening, but it was nearly lunch time!)
Music teachers will soon be saught after...My sis specialises in Music and has just taken on a job working for out LA teaching just music in different schools. If music is yr passion (mine is maths) then you may be able to get a job just teaching Music and u would love it! It would be much less stress than general Primary teaching.
If i could just teach Maths i would do! I can go to secondary school with my qualifications, but only teach up to GCSE...i found that secondary school children hate maths...and lets face it, being hated by 30 children every hour of the day does not sound like a good job! LOL xx
 
Bugs sounds like you have pulled something so please be careful and dont over do it, sometimes it is better to do fewer reps with good form than rushing to keep up, speed will come. Make sure you always keep back straight with shoulders back and use your hips to bend x

I think I've only ever found 3 others who liked maths...they did the course with me lol :)

Awww thanks for that Cai - my biggest struggle at the moment is Maths lol and Science (well, I thought I was rubbish at both, but got 84% right in my maths audit this week, and did really good in my science ones). I think after 3 years of it, I'm glad to give music a rest for now... but may change my mind once i've started teaching a bit lol!! Thanks for the advice and info :) and i agree, i didn't like maths in secondary school either lol sorry hehe!! xx
 
I had a warm bath after Resistance wk2 to try and ease my muscles! And put some ibuprofen rub on my neck which seems to have helped a little bit (as long as I don't turn my neck too much lol). I do worry about my 'form' and if I'm doing things right.... might take next week a bit slower and see if that helps. I've found my 5kg feels light in some moves, and too heavy in others (felt it alot in my arms this week!!). Maybe it's just the extra workout of carrying my uni bag this week haha!!

At uni 9am-4.30pm (so 5.55am until about 6pm.. woah 12 day tomorrow) then trying to fit in dinner and a cuddle with the OH :) !!! xx

I know and it's only goin to get worse. From November I'll be doing a placement in a school til Xmas, which could be up to 60mins from me... Very early mornings ahead!!

Yeah will be at least 8.30 til 3 (depending on the school times) and getting in early and staying behind to do planning etc. Will be tough, but at least I can put into practice everything I'd have learnt before november :)

Oh if you thought 2 curly wurlys was bad... I am not even sinning my food diary yday cos it was so bad:

B; corn flakes (had no bran flakes)
L: ham sandwich, fruit, curly wurly
D: Burger + bun X2 with homemade wedges
S: half a curly wurly + another bun :eek: just had one of those days!! Tiredness and temptation came a-knocking!

AND was too tired to exercise!

BUT onwards and upwards... just got to put a line under it... going to do core (and maybe resistance or cardio later too). And stick to SW closely for the next few days. Don't think I'd lose anything this saturday... might even gain... but we will see :)

Okay still rubbish day yday... had to baby sit at my sisters house (who could give willy wonka a run for his money!!) and had a cream cake. and half an angel delight fancy thing (mr kipling).
For lunch a wrap (7.5syns) with ham and salad, 2 mini scotch egg balls, and fruit.
Then jacket potato for dinner, beans and ham. and then a curly wurly before bed.

Bad day :(

This reflected in my 1lb gain this week :( starting to feel like my target is so far away. I know I won't reach it in the 6 weeks til my graduation... maybe xmas though :) i just need to look good for my graduation though. so why am i sabotaging myself so much??

Bugs dont be too hard on yourself, you have so much going on at the moment, food hasnt been too bad and i am sure if you can pull it together you will achieve your goal, but if you dont quite make it, you have to know that at least you tried x
 
Thanks Kron :) had a chat with the OH last night about it, and he's going to try and be a bit more supportive... making separate dinners... helping me exercise by doing jogging too... so hopefully I can reach my mini goal soon.

I'm just so tired from uni... get home in the evening, try and fit in kettleworx, not really thinking about SW, then before I know it i'm off to bed before getting up at 6am again lol. hopefully a routine will be put in place soon which will make it easier?!

Just finished week 3 resistance... really felt it this week... i was getting quite lightheaded and weak... not good! But i finished it and feel better for it :) xx

Wouldn't say 'relaxing' day but I'm getting work done in my own time :) so like that. Then watching the football with family before my OH lands back in the country and pops over for a SW friendly dinner lol. Hope you're enjoying the weekend :D
