Creamy Mushroom and Tomato Sauce

Just made this, taken from the 100 Saucy Secrets book, but changed a bit!!

Free on green and original

Fry light
Sliced mushrooms
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 chopped onion
Can chopped tomatoes
1 1/2 tbs artificial sweetner (says 2 but thought that was too much - I was right this was sweet enough)
Quark (Low fat natural fromage frais is in the book but I didn't have any)
Black pepper

Spray pan with fry light. Fry mushrooms, garlic, onion for 5-6 mins stirring occasionally until cooked.

Pour in the tomatoes, bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 mins.

Stir in sweetener and Quark (fromage frais) and gently heat through. Don't boil.

I cooked some pasta then put pasta into this sauce and coated.

Yummy, will definately be making again (OH thought it was a bit sweet - but I thought it was lush!!).
