cupboard basics?

since my diet before I started 2 weeks ago consisted mainly of chips and breaded / battered things, my kitchen cupboard is pretty much red sauce, brown sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper and a few different gravies... and that's it..

what sort of things should I be stocking up on for the cupboard?
worcester sauce and that sort of thing.. ?

I got a cupboard full of noodles ( mom kept buying them for me.. ), but they aren't low fat ones.. I'll have to see what the syns are and see about using them up..

just did a quick reccy and besides listed above I've got flour, sugar, ground ginger, baking powder, Bicarb of soda, nutmeg and a bag of rice..

since rice is free on EE, can you make syn free rice pudding if you use the milk as your HeA?
