Curry sauce

Morning,
im planning a curry tonight but unsure how to make a sauce. I don't have a variety of spices which a lot of the recipes have, so I'm after a quick easy one really?

I usually use a curry oxo cube, I wonder if I can use this still, or half? With water, butter and cream? I'll add garlic and chillies, and spice it up with turmeric and coriander.
Would this be induction acceptable? X
