Hope everyone is ok and having a good Monday?!

I have been Inspired by Addis new recipes, so I am just about to get settled with the new SW mag and plan a few new meals!! :) xxx
 
Does anyone know how many weeks left of the challenge?

Well, I was ultra good on my birthday on Sat until the eve when we went out and I had:

smoked prawns and garlic mayonaise with homemade bread in oil and balsamic vinegar

Huge rump steak with onion rings, garlic butter, chips, mushrooms and tomatoes

followed by pecan shortbread and chocolate orange chocolate pot

washed down with a bottle of rose :D

BUT

I was straight back on plan the next day and hoping for a small loss Thurs or failing that a sts.

its weigh day tomorrow!! I really hope that my good behaviour pays off!!! oh awesome would a big loss be...5lb i would be over the moon- i tell ya! any more than about 3lb though, to get back on track, but 5lb would get me my 8 stone award :) the wii said i got that on saturday (but we dont listen to the wii :p)

it's greatest loser award at our group tomorrow- I'm pretty sure I have that in the bag...but there might be a sneaky person who keeps quiet about their loss and might pip me :( lol we shall seeeeee :D

Good luck tanya i hopes it a good one for you! I was in the running for biggest loser as well, but as it went to group vote i don't think ill get it now! Especially as i saw one women do about 20 tickets for her mate! But ill take pride in the fact I have the biggest weight loss in my group!

RED, I always plan pretty much a week in advance. I start by looking in the freezer on Tues at what I have and then make the meals around it.I am just now planning next week. I have chicken breasts, braising steak and pork steaks, basa fillets, in the freezer to use so the next week (not this one) will look like this:

Mon - fake kfc meal. Pan fried chicken breasts in spice served in buns (hex b) with lettuce and helmans extra light with a whopper of a salad and slimming world chips.

Tues- Pork and apple casserole Fry off meat to seal add onions,mustard and apples and stock and cook to death in the oven. Served with mash and loadsa veg

Weds- Stifado fry plenty of cubed steak with garlic and heaps of rosemary add chopped onions,mushrooms,passata and cook in the oven and serve with rice and veggies.

Thurs Weigh in night and doner kebab. He does me one with no sauce loadsa salad and a small bit of meat and I take my own mayo.

Friday Fish and chips. Would be a riot in our house if I changed Fridays!. Pan "fried basa fillets, sw chips, carrots and peas and tartae sauce.

Sat Carbonara pan fry the bacon, mushrooms, onions, sweetcorn and peppers, add some philly with garlic extra light and add to the cooked drained pasta.

Sun Roast chicken and bread sauce. I just slimming worldize the recipes.

In the kitchen I have a whiteboard and start putting the stuff I need for the shop next Mon and keep filling it in and thats my list for Monday.

Fail to plan or plan to fail, I just have to keep on top of it or thats when it all goes wrong. The meals i'm doing this week are all sorted ingredients wize with the shop I did yesterday. I just find it works best for me a week in advance.

Mandy, dont fret, just keep at it! We are nearly into March and with Spring around the corner it makes everyone feel better.

Katie, sorry to hear you have a sts, I find them really tough. Postive thoughts coming your way.

Shenzi, I think thats really mean about the biggest loser in the class. Surely it's the person who has lost the most. I havent heard anything about the biggest loser in ours but the leader was on hols. There is a girl who has lost more than me but I think she lost it a couple of years back, she's a target member.I'm next in line so will be intresting to see what happens in our group. Will report back. I've no idea what the rules are.
