If you wear a pedometre at the waist and cycle it doesn't register. However, if you clip it to your shoe or sock it does count each full turn of the pedals. Is is ok to do this? Does anyone do this? Seems fair to me, for those that want to cycle to work or use an exercise bike, that it should count as steps because it's still good aerobic workout. Do you all agree or disagree?

    Hi LesleyFX

I agree with you, why shouldn't you be able to take into account the number of times your little legs go round and round on the bike, I would have thought more effort was involved than walking anyway

You have my vote Lesley :) go for it girl ......
