B: 225g haddock with BNS and 3 cherry tomatoes
L: 5 chopped egg whites with lettuce and 7 cherry tomatoes
S: pickings from roasted chicken, 170g 0% Greek yog with rhubarb
D: 400g 5% diced steak casserole with aubergine, mushroom and onion
S: 250g quark with rhubarb
 
Okay, haven't done this before but here goes.

Friday - PV

B - 2 x Dukan scones, 1 FF WW vanilla yoghurt
L - 2 x Dukan scones, 2 slices smoked salmon, large green salad
(lettuce, coriander, basil, nasturtium, dandelion)
D - grilled steak, peperonata, 1 Dukan scone, 1 WW toffee yog.

Lots of tea and water. I still have to force myself on that front.

(The "dukan scones" are from Maintainer's recipe http://www.minimins.com/dukan-recipes/230164-dukan-muffins-savoury-but-can-sweet.html#post4004695 but made in cupcake silicone cases instead of muffin sized.)

Snack - jelly with 0% ff

L - chicken breast and salad, cherry toms and red pepper.

D - roast chicken (lots!) tender stem broccoli, sweetheart cabbage and asparagus.

TOTM and wanting something sweet, jelly will have to do for a couple days...

D: roast chicken, no skin, breast and leg meat with 2tbls of dukan balsamic dressing
Snacks: onken fat free vanilla yoghurt

Oops yes was PP!

Had diet coke all night at the ball, danced non stop for 3 hours and ate chicken legs from the buffet.

So a Dukan success! And a couple of people told me they are planning to start since it has worked for me :D

PV today but need to work out what I am going to have still. Porridge for breakfast as it is easy and I feel ill.

B: hard boiled egg, galette and onken fat free vanilla yoghurt
L: turkey slices and roast chicken with no skin
D: poached egg, turkey slices, bresola and prawns

2ltrs of water

5 hours walking round a theme park!
 
Saturday - PP

B - Hard boiled egg, Vitalinea 0% Peach yog, 2 scones
L - 5 x 12.5g slices Tesco chicken, 1 scone
Snack 1 scone
D - steak, onion, 1 scone

Lots of tea, water, 1 Options chocolate-mint :eek:

My scones (as I mentioned yesterday) are Joanne's muffins but made in bun-size silicone cases. I couldn't get my head around calling them muffins as they're not sweet. Scones sprang to mind when a neighbour popped in yesterday & was curious. ;)

I have a tsp of dijon mustard in today/tomorrow's batch (half a quantity of Joanne's muffin recipe makes ten 'scones'). I find the size easier to manage than I think I would with a muffin. I spread them out through the day. I liked my porridge of a morning but these are lovely.

Having tasted these today I think the oats and eggs make them more suitable to savoury flavourings and scone would be an apt description.

Gonna try coffee flavoured ones when I make my next batch on Wednesday. :)Xx
 
First food diary post

Have been planning to join this thread but putting it off as life ran off the rails (OH’s mother rushed to hospital where her partner is already about to come home after hip op. Both OK but been bedlam!) However I thought –stop prevaricating and start writing so here it is.

Friday PV
B: several cups tea (regular then redbush) with skimmed milk
S: none – really bad day!
L: v late hospital car park picnic of sliced beef and sliced chicken.
D: pub – steak with mushrooms and tomatoes (probably too much fat but beyond caring by then!) broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, courgette and a few green beans. No pudding even though I really really wanted it!
Porridge 2tbsp oatbran, water/skim milk, sweetener, 1 drop vanilla essence
M&S rhubarb yogurt.
Gallons of diet coke, diet caffeine free coke and fizzy water, more redbush tea.
Maybe three sugar free ricola lozenges & few sticks chewing gum.

Saturday Was supposed to be PP but, as had to eat out again, morphed into PV

L: rest of packet of sliced chicken in hospital car park
D: Harvester – steak with tiny bit of hot sauce & mustard (less than a teaspoon), salad w very small dribble low fat dressing, grilled mushrooms. No pudding (oh the temptation)!
Porridge 2tbsp oatbran, 1tbsp wheatbran, water, sweetener, 1 drop vanilla essence.
Greek yogurt with sweetener & vanilla essence
½ fruit and fibre thingy (you can guess why)
late night munchies – hard boiled egg.
Gallons of diet coke, diet caffeine free coke and fizzy water, more redbush tea.
Maybe three sugar free ricola lozenges & few sticks chewing gum.

As you can see I don’t do breakfast (almost 9 now and the idea of food makes me feel nauseous) and my weakness is sweet things and the fact that as the evening wears on I start cruising the house looking for something to munch!
Off to the hospital imminently so guess what I’ll be eating for lunch in the carpark! My diet isn’t all that varied anysay but it’s really not always this dreary always.

Am I supposed to be boring you lot with this much detail?
 
Yesterdays menu. Cruise PP day

B Galette with 0% yoghurt
L Turkey and chicken breast pieces with seasoning
D salmon fillet an turkey breast
For pudding I put sweetener in my yoghurt and froze it! A bit icy but quite nice!

Does anyone know a dukan friendly way to make proper frozen yoghurt or anything resembling ice cream?
 
Weekend Dukan-ing :)
SAT PV
Brekkie: low fat yoghurt (got up a bit late!)
Early Lunch: salmon salad with spinach and rocket (@ Bella Italia - asked for no beans in salad and no dressing)
Afternoon snack: 3 x crab sticks + 1/2 chicken breast
Tea: Hubby's chicken fajitas (without the tortillas!), mushrooms, asparagus
Supper: Dukan porridge
Drinks - Diet coke / 1 x coffee / lots green tea and weak blackcurrant squadh

Today PP
Brekkie: Dukan porridge mixed with low fat toffee yog
Lunch: Crab sticks / tuna & mackerel paté / handful prawns / cottage cheese.
Tea: 2 x Basa fillets seasoned with paprika and poached egg
Snack: Homemade fishcake
Drinks: Green tea and more green tea

Exercise: 2 x 25min walks (to shops and back!) / just dance on the Wii.

Gutted, been on scales this morning after 2 really good days on attack and lost nothing! Not an oz!

Got another 3 days on attack and hopefully the 4lbs plus will fall off then!

Drinking lots of water and doing some exercise so why is nothing happening!

My menus are in the menu thread if anyone wants to check I'm doing this right, which I think I am.

Let's hope it's just slow at first!

I've just started too but thought I'd cross my fingers for you. I didn't lose a pound until day 3 or 4 of attack when one begrudgingly slid off, then about day 5 three more vanished overnight - weird!

Unfortunately since then nothings moved I'm just praying for some more weirdness tomnorrow.
