Ooooh that looks lush. How did the cheese sauce go ? X

Now that looks FABULOUS! I must try it. Will scroll back for cheese sauce recipe and give it a go x

It's seriously easy to make and very versatile and yummy. one pot of quark and one packet of cheese and onion smash 2 pints of boiling water to the smash mix then add the quark and blend with hand blender....NOMMMMMM! ;)

Good morning!

I hope everyone is good.

The balance in the house is upset somewhat because Dennis my 8 year old boy puddy has decided to relentlessly stalk our 2 year old girl Daisy, diving on her at every opportunity and beating her up :( it's horrible and freaks out the younger furbabies. He did this before to my old Tabby Jerry so much so that we sent Jerry to live with my eldest for some peace in his twilight years.

It concerns me that this is happening again and apart from using the feliway infuser plug-ins (which are not the cheapest method at £25 a pop and we have 2 on the go and they only last 4 weeks) we're giving daisy full freedom of the house to hide and of course stepping in with the water sprayer when bully boy Dennis starts there's nothing much else I can do. He is very territorial with me and T and to be honest he actually gets more attention than the others because he's older and more docile with us.

Giving him less attention would just make him more domineering with the others he gets 6 monthly vet check ups has part of our pet insurance and has had his dangles removed too.
Unfortunately in my experience this kind of aggressor/victim is only usually remedied by re-homing the aggressor at a last resort :( we've had Dennis from him being 4 weeks old..but considering this has happened before - if it doesn't settle down with the help of the pheromone infusers and the other tactics maybe I'm going to have to make a realisation that Dennis no longer wants to share us or his space with other cats anymore and maybe its kinder to place him with someone else. Anyway any advice would be greatly received but believe me there isn't much I haven't tried.

I hope and pray calm returns soon to the house because I don't want to be without any of my furries.

Not decided on foodies yet - so will post later xxx

Okay food..

Breakfast: coffee (hexA) and 2 toasted slices of bread from a 400g loaf (hexB) with 2 fry-light eggs and some ketchup (1syn).

Lunch: bowl of vegetable and bean broth.

Dinner: SW chips, beans, 60g wholemeal roll (hexB) with southern style quorn burger (2.5 syns) roasted onions and 40g reduced fat cheese (hexA) .

Cinema tonight so might use a few more syns ....

I had a bottle of pear cider last night at a whopping 14.5 syns :O!!! (Wont be doing that again in a hurry) So Im over the 70 mark now syn wise but that's ok because I always have 105 every week.

Holy moly 14.5 for that? That's ridiculous, it'd have to taste like nectar & give me eternal life for that many syns

Well back from the cinema and I've car crashed my syns.

One very large glass of white and one pint of lager at the pub first and then at the cinema god knows how much popcorn shared with my friend it was bigger then my mop bucket :D then we had a share bag of munchies between us with my hand in there more times than his and then a whole grab bag of walkers extra crunchy cheese and onion to myself. I've also got lunch out with my eldest tomorrow and the cinema again straight after - I was fluky last week with the scales after what I consumed over the Easter weekend - this Friday the scales are gonna lol and ask me if I'm taking the hiss. I think my run of losses might be coming to an end on Friday, to try and flexi-syn this again will defo be food abuse- but what can I do?...I still have to have a life I suppose *shrugs* xx

Yes you do and it's one week. You just have to be focused that you've had a relax week and you're back on it bigtime once the treats are done. Sometimes we need the naughty bits to be able t o stick to it 99% of time. Such a waste regretting it so definitely don't, but keep that goal in sight!! ( you don't want me to have to unpick the owl do you now?!)

Well OK, the scales might object to what you've done, but hey, we've all got a journey in front of us, this changing of body and eating habits lark I mean. All journeys involve a break now and again and looks like you've had a week you could call a pit stop.

No problem, you know what to do. Check the map, make sure you are on the right road still and get back behind the wheel. You are very good at back into focus once you've had a break, you can do this again and I doubt the figures on Friday will be as bad as you expect. Tbh, it seems to suit me to have a couple of high intake days balanced with no syns, low calories generally. I shouldn't expect what works for one person to necessarily work for another but presumably there is some underlying general biology.

Go make soup woman :) But enjoy it, don't look on it as penance.

Like always you're right my lovely ladies.

I cancelled lunch out and the cinema today - just didn't feel like it.

Breakfast: pineapple and passion fruit, fruitpot. Coffee (hexA)

Lunch: 2 fry lighted eggs on 2 toast from a 400g loaf (hexB) and ketchup (1 syn)

Dinner: chickpea Dahl loaf (hexA for the cheese) with baked beans.

I've gone over my syns by around 75 :O
:( there's nothing now that I can do to reverse it so will just have to carry on has normal having hardly any or no syns at all until Friday.

Bugger.

Just dust yourself off and start again. These things happen, but you're doing it for a great reason - getting healthier, fitter and more comfy in yourself. The crux of it is whether you get back on it and don't give up when you have a blip. We all have bad times but if you just start again the next day you will succeed. 30 good days and 1 slip up = 29 days better than before!!!

Just got back from the out of hours doctors with S. He came home from school with a raging temp and coughing until he was sick. More antibiotics for my boy. S is in a mood because she's not the centre of attention and T is basically just in a mood...<insert appropriate expletives and words of a cussing nature here>

Gotta have a discussion about money tonight - things are getting a bit tight since there's only one wage coming in and O moved out (I used to get carers allowance for looking after mum and rent from O) bills gone up, wages haven't. Things are getting strained and niggly and have reached that bubbling resentment stage...long story..blah..blah..etc. No word from the job I applied for either...for the first time since I started the plan I really feel like comfort eating then getting wasted, it doesn't solve anything in the slightest but hey ho! I'm sure the world would seem a brighter place after a few buckets of wine and a box of black magic :D....
Off I trot to Tesco pharmacy for the prescription and hopefully wont come back armed with chocs and wine.

Ho hum....laterz.

STEP AWAY FROM THE WINE/CHOC/CAKE!!! You think it'd be good but you would feel caca tomorrow in more ways than one. It won't change things or make things better & means longer to lose the weight. Money things are horrid and divisive etc but you can work something out I'm sure.

Sorry to hear about the ongoing illness - isn't it just everywhere at tHe mo? All very tiring and gets depressing doesn't it? The sun will bring lots of healthy goodness!

I've got to laugh ....<lol> isn't that the British thing to do? -_-

Money talk turned into blame turned into argument turned into being 10 year olds.

I'm currently at O's flat Ive already done 4 lagers and now mother and son are doing a bottle of JD.

T would rather be on his own without me..

Oh well car crash syns again!

Oh bugger it ... (((((((((((((( Lisa )))))))))))))) hang on in there, all things change. But, if you can bear to hear this, it doesn't help anyone's emotional situation to be piling on the pounds as well as everything else. Food and booze don't solve anything. But hey, it's not as though I can take my own advice, and this is not news to you. XXXXXXXXX

Lisa I'm really sorry it went that far. Hopefully things will be better this morning when things have simmered down & the heat of the moment has past. Let us know how you're getting on x

I didn't drink the JD with O in the end - but we did have milk shake, cookie crumble galaxy and Doritos :(

Things will sort themselves out, who doesn't moan about money eh?. I'll be going home after lunch, more so because S is off school. Will check in later xxxx
