Step 1 Sole Source Day 1 again, 6st off but 6st on !

Morning all :)

Well today is day 17 and I've woken up in a far better fettle than yesterday so going to put the smear at the back of my mind ( until I get the hospital appt I know there is nothing I can do )

The days are flying by, even just moving around is much easier and I know getting back on plan has already improved my health even in the small few weeks so far.
I'm my own worst critic at times ( like many women ) but I can already see and feel the changes.

I'm going to have to get 2 weeks of products on Tue as I have a office day the Tue after so won't be able to get there. I have no problem with that and am hoping after the 2 weeks I will be back in the 14's which is just mind blowing as I started at 16.12 ( currently 15.9 so 9lb in 3 wks is easy do able )

I'm off work on Sunday so shall be doing another good walk with the hubby :)
Then I'm also off next Thur and Friday so should get in a extra one next week.
The following weekend in in London for a girlie day at the Winter wonderland in Hyde park so plenty of walking then and no deviation from plan as I'm with my daughter so have no qualms about only having my shakes :)
I know its mad but I have to plan ahead or things could throw me.

Anyway thank you all again for popping by and reading my rambles. Here's to another great day x x x x

Just a quick update as I head to work. I've just taken delivery of running top lol

I know I can run in anything but I always take things to the extreme. It looks better on than I thought and I have some fab easy tone trainers
( generally for walking but should be ok for running I hope )
I just need to take the plunge and try them out on a local track ( under the cover of darkness )

Running is something I've always wanted to be able to do so in for a penny and all that.
Unfortunately it will have to be on a day off so not for the next week or so but as soon as I can.
Depending on what days I do my walks as I don't want to overdo the exercise.

Shake in my bag and almost at work.

A noticeable difference in my work skirt today :) :) And my coat feels much better also.

Feeling great today x

Aww YAY! That's so good to hear :) go you! I wish I lived near one of you guys, then we could go out for runs/walks together after dark! Lol!

Morning all,

Another ramble from me lol

Another 100 % day ahead of us before the weekend is here. I love this part of the week as it's almost weigh in.
Tue can't come quick enough. I know the losses will slow down but looking at the bigger picture, every week done is a week closer to goal :)

I'm just not even hungry at all although obviously I do think about food but now it's with a critical eye, without saying it I criticise everything everyone eats ( oh dear ) no wonder people are overweight ! I've noticed most people eat a lot between meals and then generally eat fast / processed foods just like I used to !
I have one super healthy friend at work so I'm kind of looking at her diet as a good way forward after Cambridge.
I'm almost obsessed with planning my maintenance already as I know that was my downfall last year :-( I also know that sticking to plan should get me to my goal of 11.13 by around April next year ( maybe earlier but I'm taking into account my breaks in Dec & a week away in Jan ) April will be here before we know it hence planning already.
The steps do scare me as I know once I eat I become hungry so I know that's what I'm going to have to focus on.

I'm on my usual shift today so my day will go as planned and I should be home around 2330.
Fingers crossed I get a chance to honk later :)
Hope everyone has a good day x x x

It's interesting isn't it that creating healthy meals that have flavour and good nutrition suddenly seems like an interesting future challenge (considering I can't eat yet!). I think it actually helps that for the last 3 weeks or so I've been making my son meals that don't particularly tempt me - it makes me focus on why I've been overeating and why certain foods are my achilles heel. It's a work in progress but I'm learning coping methods besides comfort eating (thank you to all those on these boards that have shared tried and tested distraction techniques). I'm so proud of you for getting this far Angel, and proud of myself for still being here to see it! Long may it continue xxx

hi angel

prob wont be about as much this weekend (will be checking in though) so just want to wish you a lovely 100 % weekend and hope you get good weather for your mammoth trek with hubby that no doubt you ll be undertaking :)

Thank you hunni, we're all doing flipping great and should all pat ourselves on the back :)
I agree that cooking helps, as strange as it is it certainly helps me. Here's to a fab weekend hunni x

Hi skydragon :)
Nice of you to drop by. Hope you have nice plans for the weekend ?
Not sure how far we will walk this week as I've not checked the weather but it can't be any worse than the winds of last weekend lol.
As you know I will keep you posted as to hat far I get, Newcastle are playing on Sunday so I guess it depends what time hubby wants to be back but we always head out early do should be ok. I won't be happy with anything under 5hrs.
Thanks again love x

Hiya Angel. Just a quick shout to say hi and enjoy your weekend of walking. I know they say doing exercise on CD doesn't make any difference, but somehow, I think it does. I'm sure that if I hadn't exercised the few times that i have, my weight loss would not have been as fast as it has been, especially with my breaks and eating. I envy your ability to walk for so long. I wish I liked being outdoors that much. It's Fitness DVD's in the comfort of my home.
Enjoy your weekend and here's to another 100% weekend too.x

Thanks Cee, I have several exercise DVD's but I've never ever done one. Lucky that I live by the coast so it's a pleasure to be out walking and so many people do it here that I never feel out of place or silly. Thankfully the weather forecast is better than that of last week so I should get another decent walk under my belt ( no pun intended )
Hope you have a good weekend hunni x

Morning all :)

Another day is upon us and another day closer to weigh in ! I do think I am somewhat obsessed as Cambridge is the 1st thing I think about when I wake up and is on my mind almost constantly during the day.

I've not been on the scales as much this week as they were different to cdc last week so I just don't have a clue as to my possible loss for tue whatever it is it will be in the right direction so that's a good thing :)

Exactly 28 days until my 1st " break " my 1st one is 2 nights in Glasgow visiting friends who live there and they have booked a table at The red leaf restaurant in the swish casino there. I have been somewhat cheeky and emailed the restaurant for a copy of their Xmas menu so I can prepare myself, typically it's a 3 course set menu for £35 pp so I don't want to look ungrateful therefore once they send me the details I shall choose my dishes with great care as I'm not prepared to ruin my bloody diet ! ! ! ! !
The worst bit is I won't get a good walk in that weekend so I shall have to fit a good one in somewhere else that week to at least try to counter act some of the damage.
The 2nd night is me and the hubby with a free night in Glasgow, we will be walking a bit during the day but just around the shops so not real exercise at all. I don't mind sticking to a SS+ day so will look for somewhere I can have a protein only meal ( wish me luck ) or any ideas more than welcome.

Can you see a pattern ? I'm planning ahead again but that's not a bad thing is it ?

I'm only home 1 day then away on a 2 day girlie break with my best friend :)

Then home a day and then it's my 2 night break in Edinburgh ( I could bloody cry ) I honestly wish I didn't have so much going on but it's a Dec ritual for us to have lots of nice trips away so whilst I will be far from going wild I will indeed enjoy them but also be straight on plan the moment I get home !
My interim goal of 2 st off by new year was set with the 3 breaks in mind but to be honest I would love 3 off by NYE and at the moment it is so do ~ able I could burst with happiness !

Well girls I'm going to love you and leave you as thinking if the blooming breaks is making me want to get my diary to pencil in extra walks, as many as I can fit ! ! !

Hope you all have a fab weekend :)
