    Deciding this time to do 4:3 down days consisting of coffee, sweetner and milk. Have done it on and off for months and have maintained until recently where my eating has got out if control again so now I'm reigning myself back in. 136lbs was my lowest in august and I'm aiming to be back there again by this august. I don't count UDs because I can't be arsed to tell the truth that's why I really try to offset any overeats with my very low cal DDs. Will see, will do it if this doesn't work. I'm 5 ft 4 just about squeezing into some of my size 10s but now my clothes are getting tight. Off out with OH for meal out tonight so probably expecting a slight gain tomorrow but really looking forward to my Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday's fasting.

    Hi,
    Good luck on the no eating. Is it a down day for you today then?

    I just started yesterday, trying to stay in control on a an up day as well as a down day.

    Hi karma good luck to you too!!! Today is an UP day Mon, wed, Fri being my only DDs each week. Will just be having a slight dash of milk in my coffees for my DDs. Had previously Been maintaining on one or two DDs each week but went off track and have gained over a stone. I would be happy with 1lb per week. I'm in no rush. Is rather find something manageable that works for me. :-D

    Three down days should yield you a good loss all the same.
    I am in a hurry to lose weight, for my own sanity! But couldn't stick to a shake diet,so I'm hoping this will work reasonably quick, plus with added health benefits.

    Yeah me too, I can do 3 days of fasting but that's it, for me to stick to it I need to feel like its manageable long term. Today im so glad of a DD I ate too much yesterday so looking forward to being in control today. X

    Don't know what happened there I was expecting another gain after my feast but I'm chuffed with that. Can't wait to jump on scales tomorrow. I hope I can get to 150 lbs ( 10st 10lbs)

    Go you and the scales! That's great.
    i went a bit over board too yesterday, should of calorie counted the biscuits before scoffing them. Lesson learned!

    hope your doing ok without food, I haven't eaten yet but will at some.

    Are you on a DD today karma? I'm feeling ok so far, copious amounts of coffee are helping to curb the appetite. I've had a clear out at home and been to the tip. House is very tidy x

    Yep down day today, just had 100kcal worth of soup.

    So so so happy with how its going so far. Yesterday's DD went very well. Coffee keeps me going and stops the hunger. I'm all or nothing and can't stop eating once I start so for now I'm sticking to just coffee and milk on DDs.

    Today I'm going to stick to 1600-1800 cals my problem being once I go unrestricted I really mess up. My eyes see unlimited amounts of yummy food and I eat so much that I get serious tummy pains.

    I'm excited I've dropped 5lbs already so hoping for a sts from today's UD or a very small gain. Will log weigh in every day because I like to see a pattern of what's going on and what I can expect.

    So far but have been doing the unlimited eating thing today. Feeling really really full. Was doing really well counting all day but then DD wanted chocolate and cake from the shops and I just caved. Wish I coukd be stronger than that. Tomorrow just coffee and milk. I actually can't wait and hope my UDs settle down a bit to a controllable level.

    It sounds as if we're all the same, finding the UDs more of a struggle than the DDs. I'm hoping to restrict my UDs to 2000 at the most all week and see what difference it makes to losses. Hopefully if it is good it will help me keep going like that. At least you know if you fall off the wagon you can address it in some measure by a DD the next day.

    Well happy with that!! Don't know how I only managed and 1lb gain after yesterday. I counted up to 2000 cals then finished off day with a giant Chelsea bun and coffee made with evap milk. How many extra cals was that? So so lucky no to have gained more. Need to get more in control. I'm thinking I should mayb break the fast by waiting later in the day to eat.

    I had awful headaches on DDs for the first couple of weeks, seem to have gone now though. Hope you're feeling better x
