Deejayp - green day food diary

Hi everyone

You have all inspired me to start a food diary, I will try to post daily.

A bit of background about me.
I am a 39 year old single mum of 2 girls.

I'm a veggie so only do green days. I started SW in February and have lost 1 stone 4lbs so far, I have got 10lbs left to lose. The weight is coming off very slowly, so hopefully by doing this I can get some ideas to keep me motivated and on track.

Here's my food diary for today (I will update as I go along):

Breakfast -
Shredded Wheat bitesize (HEB) with semi-skimmed milk (HEA), the rest of allowance to be used in coffee

Lunch -
Sandwich - 2 slices wholemeal bread (HEB), extra-light mayo (1/2 syn), reduced fat cheddar (HEA), chopped cucumber & tomatoes. Muller light yogurt, raspberries.

Dinner -
4 bean chilli and rice.
Muller light yogurt

Only 1/2 syn today :)

Thursday 8th July

Breakfast -
Shredded Wheat bitesize (HEB) with semi skimmed milk (HEA) and a banana

Lunch -
sandwich - 2 slices wholemeal bread (HEB), extra light mayo (1/2 syn), reduced fat cheddar (HEA), cucumber and tomatoes
An orange and a nectarine

Dinner -
Broad bean risotto (6 and 1/2 syns for oil & wine)
Muller light yogurt

Loves Life!
Try and have more syns Hun. You could end up feeling that you are depriving yourself and that when you will be more likely to go off plan. Aim for around 6 if you struggle with anymore than that.
I thought about that with the syns - I tend to go from having 20 syns one day to a very minimal amount the next day. Is it ok to do it like this or is it best to have a smaller amount every day?

Breakfast -

Lunch -
Baked beans on toast (HEB)
Muller light yogurt, strawberries, nectarine

Dinner -
Going to a BBQ - so planning to have a veggie burger and salad
