Demon alcohol!

Good morning all, i need a little bit of advice :) im off out tonight with a few friends, but WW can be so anti-social at times! lol we are starting early about 5.30-6ish so it will be a long haul, so what do i do? I admit i'm a total wineo! lol my drink of choice but i know it's high in points 8 points a bottle or something? Or there is vodka and diet juice for 1.5pts i can drink that but get not all night, i'm also quite partial to a pear cider so if anyone knows the points in that it would be much appreciated :)

Here is my meal plan for today:

Breakfast - yoghurt 1pt, peach 0.5pts, 3xdried apricots 1pt
Lunch - lentil and beacon soup 1.5pts
Dinner - pasta 2pts, ragu sauce 1pt loads of salad 0 points (having to have this early though)
Snacks - apple 0.5pts, WW rice pudding 1.5pts, raspberries 0.5pts plus a couple of litres of water. So thats the healthy stuff and my 5 a day taken care of for 9.5 pts

That leaves me 9.5 points for tonight. I admit i'm a bit of a binge drinker, but most 21 year olds are! What does everyone else do when they are out? Do you keep track and point all your drinks as you go or forget about WW and start fresh the next day?

Sorry for the long post, any advice much appreciated :)

well, there are only 2 options really, drink and be careful or drink and don't worry lol

or could drive and not drink ?

not sure what I would do - depends how close to weigh in, how badly I wanted to drink, how bad will ya feel in the morning with a hangover.......dunno mate -

the desicion is yours :p

lol thanks well i can't drive so thats out of the question. I will start off with vodka and diet juice and pace myself and then just see how it goes. I know deep down i will be full of good intentions till i get there i suppose i just want you guys to tell me what i want to hear it's ok and face the music tomorrow hehe :p xx but it goes on sooooo easily!

well to be fair you are at a good healthy bmi at the moment anyway and a little of what ya fancy always does ya good...............:party0036: = :drunk:

Look you only live once! If you can face work with a hangover then why not? It's not like one night of overdoing it a little is going to wreck your diet for ever. If it was no-one would ever diet as the results would be to demoralising! The problem is the next day - if you do overdo it you'll have the hangover munchies to contend with, which personally i think is worse!

Don't agonise too much - just agree with yourself that you will do your best!

thanks barbs :) your right points counting does become quite obsessive! A few hours off is not going to do much in the grand scheme xx

Yeh just enjoy yourself and try to be sensible!

If you are having spirits and diet whatever then i think they are normally about 1 point per 25mls and malibu is 0.5 for 1 shot and 1.5 for 2. You could always go for a diet drink in between each one with spirits in.

Or if like me it's all about wine. You could always go for Spritzers with soda water. That what you are still drinking and being social but for every 1 glass of wine you have you could have 2 spritzers instead.

It's very easy to do especially with 8.5 points. So just enjoyed yourself, try and make good choices and if it doesn't work out well then tomorrow is another day and you can claim a few points back later in the week :D Have a good one x x x

Smirnoff is also 1.5 for 2 shots, so could have singles instead of doubles to make them go further. Other vodkas are 1 point per 25mls though, which is odd.

Good morning all! Well i hada really good night last night :D I just stuck with smirnoff vodka and diet juice all night, although lost count early on lol my problem is though the more I drink the hungrier I get so ended up having a pizza at the end of the night :eek: it was a small 1 between 2 though oh well these things happen! lol oh and the battery went in my pedometer!

But heres to a new week! Ped is fully charged and counting away and going to jump on the food diary band wagon :) hope everyone has a good week! xxxx
