Does anyone know how much damage it does on an occasional basis?
Know it's not allowed and have no intention of drinking it if it wrecks my diet but would one a week as a wee treat on a Saturday night do much damage?
That's actually been hardest part so far because I'm used to using it to fill me up/ satisfy my sweet tooth when I'm dieting and honestly think I've missed it more than food today lol

It has citric acid in it which can knock you out of ketosis, try fizzy water it should fill you up in the same way x

Technically coke zero doesn't have citric acid in it but personally i believe that drinking diet drinks on this diet is just making things harder for yourself for a number of reasons. Drinking sweetner filled drinks makes you crave sugary things which can lead to all sorts of trouble and part of the point of this diet is that it cleanses your pallet so you can make better choices when you come off it, diet drinks just keep you addictied to sugary tasting things. Just my oppinion, its up to you at the end of the day but i wouldn't.

You're probably right lilac but I already use sweetener in my tea and think maybe one coke zero a week (its coke zero i drink anyway) wouldn't be so bad if it keeps me sane and ultimately on the diet longer. I will try to resist though!

I am in full agreement that if the choice is have a coke zero and carry on for a few more days/weeks or throw in the towel, then have a coke zero. No contest, just be aware that it might possibly make it a bit more difficult for you, trust me its what i have been doing the last week or two and is part of the reason why i have found it so difficult to get this last stone off x

I will definitely try to resist but will keep in mind if I get to a moment where I'm really weakening I will buy a can rather than eat

Good luck with the last stone - your weight loss so far is amazing!
