Dilemma!!!

    Hi all been going to the gym now properly since jan and although I've lost inches not really last any weight the stupid eating they want me to do is jus not sustainable and was thinking of doin slimming world again I've tried doin it at home with not much luck so think I need a class but I'm worried that goin to the gym 4/5 times a week which I'm doin is not gonna show a loss on first week and would be really embarrassed! Which is putting me off goin! Anyone had any experience with this? Any advice would be appreciated! X

    I'm not sure which eating plan you are following but I used to do weightwatchers and go to the gym 3-4 times a week and used to lose around 2-3lb sometimes more a week...seeing as I only had a stone to lose I thought that was pretty good going! I definitely think going to the gym helps! What are you doing at the gym? Are you doing enough cardio? I've been doing slimming world for a couple of weeks and am having a break from the gym for a few weeks I only have 10lb to lose this time and My plan is to get back in the gym in a few weeks time to kick start the loss of the last stubborn lbs :)

    if you already do regular exercise then sw should really help your weight loss. un-regular exercise is what causes your body to retain water which on the scales would slow down your weight loss. although every one looses weight a different speeds, all you can do is try.
    Its a good idea to keep track of your measurements, as a week where you might not loose you may see the difference in inches insted!
