Dissapointing first week....

Hi guys.My first week is over and I feel really deflated and confused as I weigh myself on a Monday after work and I weighed myself today to find I had only lost 3lbs :( but wait this is the weird thing....I coudnt resist on Sunday I weighed myself and it showed I had lost 7lbs I stepped on and off to make sure this was no error..How could I have put on that weight over night?I have been so so so good I just cant quiet believe it and feel a bit annoyed to be honest.I need some advice and words of wisdom!:)

Frustrating when that happens isn't it!! Was just going to ask if you weighed yourself at different times between sunday and monday and perhaps wearing different clothes - I put on 3 to 4 lbs over the course of a day ie differene if i weigh naked in the morning and naked at night.

Also clothes can weigh about 2lb.

The other thing that can effect my weight notivably is how much I drink - I drink a lot of water and again after a litre of water the scales can show 2 to 3 lbs difference.

If all the circumstances were still the same - ie time of weigh in, what your were wearing, what you'd drunk it's probably just that darn water retention - you know logically it's impossible to put on 4 lbs overnight if you've been on the diet so just get your head down and trust that the scales will sort themselves out over the next week or so.

Also don't forget to take your measurements - some weeks you can STS but still lose inches - the body is a weird, frustrating thing but you know it'll come off

3lbs is an excellent loss, i started out loosing around 3-4lbs for the first couple of weeks and i'm now loosing a steady 1-2lbs a week. Every little helps and it really starts to add up after a while!

You're doing a great job, keep up the great work and don't get down about it - just picture yourself at target and that is what will keep you motivated!

Thank you guys for the advice,It is also totm so maybe that may have affected it too,I get so bloated at that time I have been known to put on 6lbs around that time!
