i've never seen the older ones before. does anyone else think they look weirdly unappetising?

they did look awful compared to know but... all the sweet packs were blue and all the soups were red, no pretty pink for strawberry, yellow for banana, cream for vanilla etc. the bars were in nasty brown packaging that made them look like a lump of doo doo.

shakes and soups - they were ALL 138 cals too.

my initial thought was that they look a bit unprofessional too - our packs now wouldn't look out of place on supermarket shelves, but even three years ago food packaging design was much more slick looking.

When i first looked at the picture I thought i must've misread and that they were from the eighties!

edit - i think it's the cheapskate one-colour printing, with the stamped on details.

I agree, Spangles! They look so much better now, much more appealing.
