DOING SW FROM HOME???

Yay to smaller sizes Charl, loving the sound of your coat. I really need a new one but trying to last to next winter lol blimin snowing here again too, grrr. Just had my scan, looks ok apparently which is good, results in a weeks time.

No exciting meals here, a freezer raid I think, Lm burgers I think with some sort of veg in some form lol x

Yes, you definitely need to eat the syns!! Aim for 10-15 to start, 15 really. That way when you're nearing target you can drop your syns and have somewhere to work from. It also means you generally stay on track cos can use your syns for yummy snacks like chocolate and it's allowed!

I was the same to start with hun, you're not the only one x

Wow! Well done on all the losses everyone, you're doing great! I need to take a leaf out of all of your books :)

KsMum19 - don't be disheartened by the 1lb loss! You say you've lost 10lbs in 3 weeks?! That's nearly 3 and a half lbs per week on average! That's a much higher average than most people achieve so well done :)

I've started the day well with a breakfast of fat free natural yoghurt, 35g muesli (was the beginning of the pack so lots of yummy dried fruit!), a couple of strawberries cut up and some blueberries :)

Thinking of trying one of Peri's yummy curries for dinner! x
 
I'm doing some salmon and stir fry veg with noodles tonight I think.

Nothing romantic planned, we usually get the m&s meal with pink cava but have resisted! Going to do steak and SW chips with veggies and may have a go at the smash onion rings someone mentioned on here! Going to look for some dessert ideas too.
 
No to the romantic plans! Haha, drowning my singleness in water - because i cant be miserable about being alone and miserable about using all my syns on a bottle of wine! I think my dads suprising my mum with dinner out! So ill be home alone.. maybe ill watch some revenge and 90210 to cheer me up.. far more drama in their lives makes me feel a tad better!
 
it just seems really werid for me. As i just recently lost 2.5 stone calorie controlling. then gained half a stone from giving up smoking and kind of went of track. So thought its time for a change. so now being on slimming world i cant believe what you can eat. lol. so do you tend to use syns with your meals?? or just snacks??

A bit of both really, depends what I'm cooking. But mostly my syns are nice ones, biscuits, choc bar, mousse etc! The lm burgers are 4 syns and ww sausages 0.5 syns so you can use them that way. Chilli sauce over salmon, bit of oil in cooking. There's soooo many ways to use syns, never have a problem using them up lol you can eat a lot on sw but it works, promise!

We've got a m&s £20 meal! Such a huge choice this year, not too horrendous sw wise :)

It's totally over rated, as everything is. A quiet night in front of the tv sounds pretty good!!

Well I paid for my pancakes today :(

Last Wednesday weigh in I was 10.3 then from Thursday all the way to yesterday the scales were showing 10.1 (yes, I checked every day!!) then weigh in today showed 10.3 AGAIN!!!!! Grrrrr........

I think I'm just destined not to get to those 9's :(

Don't get disheartened! Our bodies fluctuate like crazy! Mine will go up and down by 2 or 3lbs every week! And it won't b the pancakes that did that to you! takes longer then a day to get rid of 2lbs of fat, no way you will have put 2lbs of fat on overnight because of pancakes! ;) Just stick to it and think positive thoughts! YOU WILL get into the 9's!
 
Just drink absolutely loads of water today and it'll flush it out, it should do anyway.

DEF eat your SYNS. I know when I very first started I didn't want to eat them as I figured I'd lose faster, you actually don't (generally) so eat them up!

I vary, sometimes in meals sometimes in snacks, what time of month it is usually plays a big part in where I use my SYNS! Def choc time at the mo! Xx
 
Even though I`ve been back a few days I`ve only just dared to step on the scales and I had pancakes yesterday. Paying for it now!! :)

2lb gain :( Cudda been a whole lot worse!! Hubby`s talking about going to our local pub tomorrow. If we do go I suppose I could have steak and swap the chips for jacket spud. I`d count it as an EE day.

Having chunky fish fingers & SW chips tonight!! I know the fish fingers uses up most of my syns, but would it be red or green day? I had scrambled egg & toast (hexB) for lunch and fruit & muller light for breakfast.

Would defo be Extra Easy as you're having both fish and potatoes for your dinner :) If it was red, you couldn't have the potatoes and if it was green you couldn't have the fish :) Never mind about the gain, that's small considering! You'll lose it easily :) x

Night in with my book and lots of (healthy) food! Haha! Not usually bothered by Valentines and have been happy being single for the past year and a half but am starting to get back to the 'I want someone to share my life with!' stage :p

Thanks for that Laura!! You`re right about the gain :) feel a bit silly for putting it off!! :)

You`d think I`d have got the hang of the various plans by now!! Just find EE the easiest :)
 
What is with clothing these days!! Im usually a size 16 and i just went to this random shop and they had some really nice jumpers! not only did they class a size 16 as an XXL but it was still too small?! WTH?

Know the feeling! I can be anything from a 12 ( if I hold my breath!!) to an 18 depending on where I shop:)
