DOING SW FROM HOME???

You can count on it :) i have been a little disappointed with how my body is reacting on the SW diet this time round. My weight loss seems to be going a little slower. Even though its only the second week I always tend to hope I will lose 6 lbs in the first week..Think i may be reacting differently to my green days than I used to. Even resorted looking to vitamins etc to help me along the way.

I've been the same, lost loads when i did it about 10 yrs ago and at a much quicker pace but despite being very well behaved on the diet ( other than a very naughty packet of rum truffles that somehow found their way into my mouth a few days ago ..... Cough) i've been loosing very slowly. Ahh well a loss is better than a gain and i think with me it's my age :-(
 
Guys, we've made 500 pages haha! Random, but that's gone up a lot very quickly! Quite cool :p

Having a bit of a meltdown, trying so hard to not just give up for today :(

its infuriating isnt it. i remember being this 6ft bean pole right up until I was 23 and then BAAAAAAAM hello buttocks hahahaha. I know i am larger than the average female and i am ok with that, as being curvy is lovely and my other half always tell me how beautiful he thinks I am. I dont want to be a size 12, a small 14 would be nice> I was listening to the women in my office today saying "goooooooooooooooooooood i feel so fat, i'm like 11st 7lbs" i had to think twice before deciding not to throw my cup of tea at them hahahaha

I did exactly the same, kept googling the syn values of things and the answers were always on this site so it seemed daft not to join and i think when you haven't got the advantage of talking to peeps in a group it's so nice to do it on here. AND you can chat on here any hour of the day which you can't in a group!

Thank you for your kind words. This is one thing that I know I do not do and thats drink enough water, or liquids full stop! I never have done and its caused me to suffer dehydration and really bad headaches. I have been trying green tea to try and flush my system out but yeah I do need to drink more water. I've been off plan today so Im going to start again tomorrow, I wont give up because I know I can lose. I may try a different plan from EE. When I first started SW last year I did EE and didnt lose, then shifted to alternating between green and red plans, but more green, and began to lose so may try that

Chloe if you ve been going to the gym you've produced lactic acid which can take a couple of weeks to be reabsorbed into the body which makes you weigh heavier stick with it, I loose slowly but my losses are better on Red and SE than they are on EE, you could try putting your EE food through the calorie counter on myfitnesspal it was a real eye opener for me when I did it even though I was eating as per EE my portion control was way over what they should have been.

Stick with it hun you know you're sticking to it so the weight has to move..

Need to get some turkish delight mullers hubs can't see it in Asda, Drove the girls to brownies tonight after 9 weeks off so if I have no ill effects from driving I'll go to Asda or sainsburys myself.

GA way to go with needing to alter your belt....

Phew absolutely stuffed on curry, curry fish, curried brocolli instead of rice and mushroom and spinach curry with a 1syn samosa I made ages ago and found lurking in the freezer, had that with yoghurt and mint dip and cucumber and onion salad..

I was exactly the same Li, when I started SW last year I was totally on SW plan, but wasn't being pretty stupid with stuff as it was free, I'm way more conscious of what I eat and proper portion sizes, cal counting mixed with SW is the only thing that works for me, the whole unlimited ethos def doesn't work for me at all! I wish!

Well I have 25 SYNS leftover for the week! I don't think that's ever happened before! Wow! Ha! Might have a post WI treat tomorrow with them if the scales were kind! Xx

SW coleslaw, I shred carrot, red onion, red and white cabbage and an apple and mix with 1tbsp ff fromage frais, salt pepper and cumin and 1tbsp x light mayo. It's better if you grate the veg and leave to dry out in the fridge for a while then it doesn't go watery if u have some leftover. X

been really trying to be good,but one question..... is it better to use all your syn s daily? so far i have been averaging
8-10, maybe less?

I've heard EE doesn't work for some people so try the red and green and definitely up your water/fluid intake! I'd say I drink around 3-4 litres of water plus the odd cup of tea or options hot choc per day! And I don't do a lot of exercise!
Don't give up! You will see the scales move in the right direction! :D

I think the key is to cook different things all the time then you don't feel on a diet, I got into a rut of having the same stuff I used to have and then nibbled inbetween drank wine etc coz I was bored I think, definatley feeling better this week now I've been cooking nice things again...
