Aww guys! See this is why I come and post on here even when I feel like utter crap and even when it is just to rant haha! You always know the right things to say :) Was really touched by everyone's comments so THANK YOU! You've definitely managed to raise my mood :) Not sure about agreeing about being an inspiration though haha - I just come on here and moan about being off plan most of the time haha!

Ah Charl, I'm reading the Song of Ice and Fire books at the moment (the books A Game of Thrones was built on) and have just finished the second book, so watching the second series :) The first series was a LOT closer to the reality of the book, but the second one not so much so I'm not as impressed, but it's still an amazing series regardless! If you've only watched the programme I definitely recommend the books - if you've got time between uni, kids and cooking haha!

Jen, Nando's queen of course has the answers! All the marinades are 1 syn per tbsp apart from the sweet chilli, medium and extra hot which are 1.5 syns per tbsp :) Can't remember if you asked for them or the sauces so the sauces are 0.5 syns per tbsp apart from the BBQ and the sweet chilli which are 1 syn per tbsp :D and they're all delicious!

Anyway - on to the important news! ;D WI this morning and I lost... 5lbs! All that worrying was for nothing and I'm back at 11st :) Well actually, it looked a tiny but under 11, but I'm not jinxing it with half pounds etc haha! Very happy with that :D

Wow!! That's brilliant!! Well done you :) x

Think 20g is about 3 syns as I know the bread I use weighs 23g per slice, and one slice is 3 syns!
Hope that helps! :)

The 30 day shred is an exercise DVD made by the fitness bird from biggest loser, its basically a circuit training session that lasts about 25mins doing strength, cardio, abs. theres 3 levels and you do 10 of each until its done, you don't actually have to do it in 30 days, but its a really good dvd for getting you into exercise if you haven't done much as you see yourself getting fitter quickly. xx

Yep jen I would syn the 20g. I just had the pudding, was actually really good! well done daniel!

Ohhhh, Laura I just saw! 5lbs! nooo, wow, well done you missy! xxx

What's a shred?

It's an exercise DVD by jillian michaels (from the biggest loser tv show!) 30 days of exercising pretty much every day! Three levels, you do level 1 for 10 days, level 2 for the next 10 and level 3 for the last 10 days!
I've done it before its fab when you get to the end of it, but it got boring for me doing the same workout 10 days in a row! :D

30 shred is an exercise workout. You can get the dvd or download from youtube. 30mins every day, not done it but it is pretty hardcore!

Its the Nov/dec one, I'll write it out for..

serves 4, 25mins to prepare plus 2 hours freezing time (I don't think u should freeze this.. I reckon would be better if you can leave it to set all day, was a bit weird half frozen!)

50g dark choc, broken up
3 eggs, separated
4tbsp sweetner
2tbsp baileys
200g FF fromage frais
1tsp vanilla extract
4 dr oetker giant stars (you don't have to use these, but they were good, save half syn if you don't)

1. melt the choc in a bain marie, or micro wave, remove from heat and allow to cool a little
2. Whisk egg yolks and 2tbsp sweetner and baileys in a large bowl until smooth, pour in choc and whisk to combine well.
3. in a large clean bowl beat egg whites with a hand whisk on medium until they go stiff, then fold into the choc mix with a metal spoon.
4. put FF fromage frais, remaining sweetner & vanilla into a bowl and mix well, spoon into 4 desert glasses, then top with choc mix, cover and leave to set (fridge all day or freezer for 2 hours-ish)
5. to serve put a dollop on FF on and a choc star.

:) x

Aww aint your OH lovely Charl making you yummy puds, mine would never think of doing anything like that I'm lucky if he buys me diet stuff

Laura 5lb off you doing brill just looked at your sats and Jen getting close to target too well done

Oops so much to catch up on chatty ladies and just noticed school run time gotta fly be back later to finish catching up xxxx

Didn't go out for lunch today but ended up stealing a quarter of hubs banofee muffin in Asda, knew I shouldn't have had a taste hope it doesn't interfere with my losses this week, sneaky peek this morning shows if I'm lucky I might get a STS. Been more active this week, walked to town and back the long way round Wed, 7 km walk yesterday well if the pedometer app on my phone is accurate and today done half of my daughters paper round as she's having trouble with a bunch of Chavs when she's out on her own.. little b*******s I had trouble with them today, so she's not doing it on her own anymore

Just got to decide what to do for dinner for yself, kids are having fishfingers so do I have fish again or make myself a nice spag bol can't decide..

Couldn't agree more with Toni-anne, sw isn't a short fix diet (even tho that does work!), it really is all about a lifestyle change. I know lots stay to the plan 100% and don't split hex's or tweaks etc but it really is all about finding a place where you're happy and learning how your body reacts to certain food. I do think this way you're more likely to stick to it and keep the weight off. I do yo yo with being on/off plan but in a year now I've not put the weight back on, so I will carrying on tweaking in my own little way to make sure I continue to loose/sts :)

Couldn't agree more. Once you get to target doesn't mean you'll be able to sit eating cheeseburgers hence why you should allow yourself a treat every now and again.

2lbs off for me this week :)

Everyone has had fab losses this week! Well done!

This might be a silly question, when people say they've lost inches is there a guide to where you should measure? I'm not even sure I know where my waist is

Well done on the losses peeps! Hoping for something decent on Tuesday if not I'm going to shoot myself or eat cake. Will probably not do either, but will feel like eating a big piece of chocolate cake and stuffing it in my mouth. Ahhhh gone are those days.

Laura could you look up if you still have access what LM red onion and leek lattice parcels are or whatever they are called. I'm doing green and I'm demanding them to be something decent syn wise rather then stupid 20= 1 syn otherwise one is like 20 syns. I have 3 in the freezer and want to use them up. I feel sorry for my mates all they do is eat my good food and chocolate!

I measure in CM as it shows more of a loss than inches (tip from my old WW consultant) it makes you feel more motivated

There are guide on the internet but your waist is where is goes in naturally or doesn't in my case lol it usually above the tummy button I'm crap at explaining things... if you go to a clothing site like M&S there usually is a diagram showing you roughly where to measure...

anyway I measure there, across my bust under it and across the top, my hips and my stomach... for that I measure around where my tummy button is. Once a month I also measure the fattest part of my thighs my calves and upper arms. As I said I measure in CM so any losses show sooner....
