DOING SW FROM HOME???

Thanks Raven!

Feeling more positive about it all now. I know it works as i've been doing it on and off for the past 12 years :(

Going to have a hot choc and a muller with some mini meringues to use a few syns :)

My yummy tea! Butterfly Chicken with pesto & Mozzarella, with sweet potato, roasted veg & cabbage! Mmm! Although the pest was too overpowering I much prefer Red Pesto to Green Pesto! X

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me crashing in!! I have started doing sw from home today, and stumbled across this board, would be great to have some help and know i'm on the right track... so far this plan seems too good to be true... so far today I have had a banana for brekkie, low fat super noodles with prawns and peppers for lunch, a bacon sarnie mid afternoon \(using 2 slice of nimble bread - H Ex B) and 1 tbsp brown sauce for 1 syn, and home made chilli (bulked out with veg to get 1/3 superfree) with rice and chips and a mullerlight. Plus an Otion hot choc for 2 syns... Am I doing this right and can i really lose weight eating like this?!!!

thank you
xx

Sounds good Lizzie!
I make Quorn Chilli all the time I love it! I made enough last night for some today in a jacket pot! Mmm!
Well done keep it up! X

Well Done on all the losses!
& Well Done on the STS! I can honestly say I've never had a STS it's always a loss or a gain!
Keep it up everyone and those who gained don't give up just do a food diary and look at your portion sizes etc. Sometimes as it has already been mentioned of u start to excercise it can take a few weeks for your body to get used to it x

Thanks Tilly, i have made enough for lunch tomorrow with a jacket too!
Think the support on here will be a big help ! x

It deffo will! I've been coming on here since April 12 and gained quite a few friends!
It's mad coz were not seeing eachother face to face but u can guarantee someone will answer any query u have really quickly!! Good Luck Hun! X

had the beef and red wine casserole from the sw magazine for dinner today....lovely and left overs for lunches make it even better. cooked mine in the slow cooker so the smell has been driving me mad all day!

Guys, I need a bit of advice again! I'm going to the cinema with my Nannie tomorrow to see the Hobbit (I didn't really want to see it, but she has been looking forward to it and this is the first she's wanted to leave the flat for something fun since my Grandad died, so I'm quite happy to take her!) and she wants to treat me - buy me popcorn etc... I know I could just say no, or ask for something else, but wondered if anyone knows how many grams on average are in a cinema serving of sweet popcorn?! All I can find online is 25g cinema sweet popcorn is 5.5 syns... :\

Ooh, that's good to hear! Planning that one on Thursday and using the slow cooker :) yum x

bought a new slow cooker in the new year as my old one had broke. forgot how much i loved it and some of the slow cooker mixes from schwartz are only 4-6 syns so split between 4 only work out at 1-2 syns brill.

Quick look on mfp and a 'medium' cinema sweet popcorn seems to be around 1000 cal! :-\

Oh God haha! It can't be that bad if 25g is only 5.5 syns, can it?! I might just guesstimate at 20 syns or so? Or a bit more, do you think?
