Step 1 Sole Source Done it...doing it again ....

    HEY..

    Soooo...back in 2011 at my heaviest I weighed around 21 stone... I disided to start the cambridge diet!!... over a year I managed to get to an amazing 13 1/2 stone and was so happy!!! ... the start was abit up and down but I managed to do SS for 12 weeks straight!!

    Since June 2012 (after a holiday)...I met my current boyfriend and started to get comfortable...having meals out and enjoy quiet nights in (takeaway :( and dvd)...I put on the first two stone so quickly and then gradually over the past 20 months ballooned again to 17st 3....

    My new motivation....Holiday June 2014!!!

    I have been on the diet for the past 10 days and have lost 12lbs so far!! Very happy - but could have been more! ...I really hope to be in 13's but my holiday but I am really not finding it as easy as I used to!!...at weekends I am currently doing ss+

    My real question is... has anyone lost a large amount of weight...gained some or all...and then tried again?

    Have you found it harder and what realisticly do you think I will be able to lose in 12 weeks by doing SS and SS+?

    Hi Nicky, congratulations for getting back on it, you've got a set point to focus on so I think that helps. I think around a stone a month is average, but I know from reading a lot of posts on here that some people (especially with more to loose) have successfully lost a lot more weight than that, I really think it's down to the individual. You've already done so well in a short length of time, so just keep doing what your doing and take it from there. There's a lot of us on here all in the same boat, so make sure you keep us posted as to how you're getting on. Best of luck. X

    Hi all

    Thought I would give you a little update... been abit up and down ....week days are fine but weekends I struggle so much...just wana feel full and have something nice to chew

    I am 15.12 at the moment...get weighed this tuesday...hope to have atleast another 4lbs off

    Got my holiday in 6 weeks and the thought of wearing a bikini is really depressing me

    Dnt wana feel like a fat pig or look like a beach whale..fml my partner is 11 stone and feel like I am guna stick out like a sore thumb!!

    Reli need to lose atleast 2 stone before I go...just feel meh and deflated


    Help...need motivation haha xx

    Wow you're doing amazing. Keep going you have already moved two stone sizes in a month so think what you could do in another month!!! If you have done it before you can do it again. This time for the last time.... So say goodbye to your current weight because you will never be that again!!!

    Yes I spose that is good :) I am well and truely fed up with dieting so this is defo my last time lol!!

    Im going to do this till my holiday and then try something else...starving myself makes me miserable lol!! Spesh coz I ate on saturday which knocked me out of ketotis so now im struggerling again...

    Hope to see lowER numbers tomorrow morning when I get weighed hehe

    Good luck for tomorrow's weigh in and well done for coming back.

    I lost 5 stone in 5 months, went from a size 20 to a 10 in that time (in 2009) and now I'm back to a size 14 and doing cd to get back I a 10 again.
    It's been ok, about the same as I remember for the first week....having less to lose makes it ironically harder to be motivated but I'm clenching my jaw and not eating!!! lol

    Let us know how you get on tomorrow?

    You have done amazing though, not to put it all back on ...size 14 isnt a massive jump at all!! Well done!!

    It really is so much harder second time round!! I didnt think about food or cheating at all but this time, im taking a day at a time!!

    This is a good diet to get it off quick but I really do miss the food and hate the starving feeling!! ...

    I think I might try and lose as much as pos until holiday and then try WW...not to sure yet :)

    I am really motivated to lose it though but need something I can stick to long term and still be able to socialise and enjoy a drink and bbq

    Alcohol is what I am missing the most, spesh after a busy week at work!!

    I will let you know tomorrow for sure :)

    Is there anything that u miss?

    Aghhhh wrote a massively long message...and it hasnt posted :(

    Anyway... hehe uv done so well to keep the majority of it off!!! It is sooooo blimmin much easier first time round..I never used to thinm about food or even cheating...totally different story now lol...one day at a time and all that!!!

    I am missing alcohol mainly atm...spesh after a busy week at work!!

    I am guna do cambridge till my holiday and then maybe try WW...I really am motivated at the moment and wont to carry on :)

    Is there anything u are missing at the moment? Lol xx

    Yeah I think about cheating. But instead I started planning a cheat....just chicken and salad...but then when I tried to think of a day I was happy with, nothing really popped up so I stopped planning.

    Not missing booze personally. Feel quite clean not drinking.

    I'm going to use my fitness pal afterwards and 5:2 to maintain. I like the idea of using the cd packs as part of maintenance too. It'll suit my lifestyle. And turn the spare room into a gym of course lol

    We both have weigh in' tomorrow so fingers crossed!

    15.8 eekkk 4lbs off... very happy spesh after a bottle of wine n indian on saturday eekkkk ...going back again this friday to be weighed..

    6lbs and 3.5" off this week. Bit peed off as it wS 11 days since my last (AM) weigh in but in 2 weeks it's 12lbs and 7.5" so not too bad really

    Plus 12lbs is nearly a stone...hehe I wudnt mind losing that in 2 weeks hehe xx

    I much prefer morning weigh in's but at present I don't own scales so I can't see the difference.

    Pampering is lovely. Life is much simpler without beating myself up over my weight! Lol

    I have a plan of what im doing for the weekend and this will keep me more focused! bit of cooking (!?!?!), some pampering, cinema with my daughter, time with my sister, it all adds up

    Mid week weigh in minus 2lbs so 26lbs in total now ... eekkk we can do this ladies...!! Hurry friday for nxt weigh in ...only thing that keeps me on track lol xx
