I went to the lunchtime showing of this with my mum today (waves to Kitty). I was absolutely blown away by their voices, it was incredible. There were a couple of things about it I wasn't to keen on, but overall it was fantastic - Jennifer Hudson was amazing!

Apparently she put on 20lbs for the role - Just that amount... just under a stone and a half... and she looked so different to the other girls. I know that naturally she's a US size 12 anyway (not sure what that is over here), but it really did make it obvious how slim they really are!

Fantastic film!!! Jennifer Hudson was truly the star of the movie!!

By the way a US Size 12 is a UK Size 16.

this has to be one of teh best movies i have seen in a long time .. i was brought up on soul and blues ... the bands of the 50 60 70ts i love all the female bands of them times.. so loved this movie
