Attack Dukan galette - disaster!

but oh so yummy!

My first attempt at making the galette this morning, it was cooking too well on one side so I had to turn it after a couple of minutes (as per instructions in book) and it fell to pieces!

I cannot believe how yummy it tastes though!

Any suggestions of how to perfect the method would be welcome.

There's a recipe on the recipe section for a full proof galette, give that a try. The secret is NOT to touch the galette and let it slowly cook for about 9 mins before turning it over. Good luck x
 
I could never master it either!
This is what I do, divide the mixture into 4 equal dollops on a piece of baking paper/baking tray and put in oven about 190 for 15 mins. Keep checking, when they're golden, they're ready! Sooo easy! :)
 
See my dukan crunchy biscuit thread posted this evening should you get fed up of the spongy mush called a galette and fancy using your bran allowance in a biscuit instead...
