How do you guys cope with eating out?

I have looked at the Harvester menu as we are either going there tonight or to an Italian and it looks reasonable in calories, plus you also get the salad which is healthy :)

I haven't had to deal with eating out yet but guess if you stay away from sauces, go for meats from the grill and big salad you should be ok.

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks, the website for harvester has the values for all the meals, and with chips....so as long as I dont eat the skin (yuck) and swop the chips for a JP the fat content will be less.

I save my 100 calorie treats to absorb some of the extra calories when eating out. I have also found myself making different healthier choices. Last friday i chose sea bass and loved it where as in the past i know it would have been a big fat steak and chips!

But potato is nice! It was quite small too and had no butter or sour cream on it.....so with the chicken and salad I have estimated 700 calories.
