    Hello Everyone :)

    My name is Ellie and i'm a 20 year old student from Edinburgh.

    I have just started my first 12 weeks on Cambridge Weight Plan, Step 1, Soul Source!

    I am on 4 sachets a day because of my height :)

    Today has been my first day and I it's been okay so far!

    I have tried the chocolate, chocolate orange and forest fruit shakes, all yum but forest fruit was my favourite!
    and I had the chicken and mushroom soup which was nice although I found the texture very odd, don't think I got the temperature of the water quite right!

    My weigh in day will be Wednesday!

    Day 2 and still feeling good, no headaches or anything yet :)
    I'm surprised about how easy I am finding it to drink all the water seeing as I literally drank no water before! But I find it helps me to have something to go and get from the kitchen so I'm not tempted to snack!

    Day 3 and still feeling pretty good, went to the cinema with my boyfriend which was a test as I would never usually go without popcorn! But managed

    My stomach has been a little upset today bowel movement wise but nothing i'm not used to with IBS

    Still not sure if i'm in ketosis, not experiencing many of the signs yet!

    Hi Ellie. Glad to hear you're getting on ok with your first few days. Re: ketosis, don't worry about it. You'll either be in it already or you'll be in it very soon - I didn't get any of the symptoms at first, but after a while had the most insatiable thirst.

    I'm also in Edinburgh.

    Thanks the only thing i'm feeling today on day 4 is a kind of bloating? or at least a lot of gas movement in my stomach which is weird, think I may have been drinking my water too fast! Your weight loss goals are similar to mine, I aim to lose 90lbs!

    Day 5 - Ok so today has been quite bad but entirely my fault! I forgot to take my shake to uni with me for lunch so had to go 10-4 with nothing, drank loads of water and got home and just had my shake but I feel a bit light-headed and headachey, silly silly me, hopefully I will feel better soon, not going to wait too long to have my dinner soup so hopefully that will help :sigh:

    Day 6 - feeling good today and so excited for first weigh in tomorrow, running out of soup flavours I like though, yeuch vegetable!

    Hi.
    I also started on the 6th feb. my first weigh in is tomorrow morning! fingers crossed.
    my start weight is 183lbs and i aim to lose almost about 62lbs!!!
    will keep you updated tomorrow! glad i found someone who started at the same time as me!

    so i went for my weigh in and ive lost 3kgs!! thats 6.6lbs! im so excited! i had almost given up yesterday because i just wanted to eat something! but now i have renewed strength so im hoping to stay strong!
    this week i have decided to go for shakes only as i was not that impressed with soups!
    keep updating your daily diary and i will mine :)

    Yay well done pings! yeah super happy with 10lbs hoping for 4 this week and that 1stone already! I was feeling the cravings today! My friend was eating some lovely lemon chilli crisps and I almost had one but I was like NO! Think of that stone! Yeah I only really like 2 flavours of the soups but I can't deal with not having a savoury dinner so i'm just rotating the flavours I like, love the shakes though!

    so i spoke to my consultant and told her how im craving something solid so she may put me on ss+ from next week. lets see hehe
    but im keeping focused! just trying to figure out how i can have my shakes in some other different ways lol
    i didnt like the soups at all so thats why im trying shakes only.
    i try and have tea in the morning and then water and then try to have my shake abt 11ish so that i can have my lunch shake at ant 3-4 and dinner at about 9-10ish without getting too hungry!!
    i really really hope i keep the will power to lose weight within me for a while atleast lol
    todaay has been ok ish not too many cravings for food unless you count the smell of fish and chips coming from next door :eek:

    Hey,
    ooh hope you like SS+, I tried my chocolate shake hot today and it was delish! Like a creamy hot chocolate! I've been pretty good today going to the cinema again tonight and going to try and make it without the diet coke as my CDC said I shouldn't have it!
    trouble for me I love cinema snacks sooo much even the smell agh! haha but I will stay strong :)

    Oh dear ?? i had friends over for dinner last night and i cheated with a few tiny bites and now i feel horrible!! I will have to work it all off?
    It is irresistible!! I need more will power and determination and motivation!!!
    I feel gweeeuuucchhhh ?

    Hey pings,
    Sorry I was away for the weekend with little internet! I'm sure a few bites didn't hurt, I inversely haven't had anything but the shakes since last weigh in and my scales are showing an INCREASE today?! really confused but feeling kind of bloated today so don't know if it's a retention problem as haven't been to the toilet today, pretty discouraging though :(

    Awww dont worry! Im sure its just the scales ?
    Im sure you will have lost a good amount if youre strictly on your shakes :)
    I am thinking of doing some cardio tomorrow to get rid of the bites i had ?
    How was your weekend? I have had a hard time not eating anything but i have a bottle of water next to me so i dont crave anything else!!

    Ooohhh i also drink green tea when i wake up so i can have my shake a bit later and also before dinner so i dont get hungry fast hehe!!
    It does help bring a different taste heh

    Yeah weighed again this morning and it's back down! Weird, probably just me scales being silly, their weight watchers ones lol so maybe they object to my Cambridge weight loss! I had a really good weekend seeing my best friend in Liverpool we went to see Russell Brands stand up and I for a cuddle from him ha so was feeling pretty good! It was hard being with my friend though cus usually when we get together in the others city we go out for the best dinners! But she was being really supportive so it was ok :)

    Ooh the green tea thing sounds like a good idea! It's hard to space the shakes out enough, next weigh in is Wednesday :) hoping for 4lbs+ then that's 1stone gone!

    How's your Monday going? Where are you from btw? :)
