ok so it's 8 qweeks to xmas(last week) and suddenly i find myself single living alone with my cat on my 25th birthday now don't get me wrong 25 is young i know less now than i did when i was 17 and i still can't keep my bedroom tidy, but there is something bout moving up a category in x factor that makes a girl re adjust her priorities. So in my infinate wisdom i re decorate the house i tidy my room i even start turning into work on time and occasionally brushing my hair before i meet clients but there is still some thing not quite right then it hits me mmmm not shifted that uni weight yet have you Ria. My weight is pretty easy to maintain but as it goes when i joined uni i was 11st i'm 5'10 so that made me a small size twelve not including the wangers i seem to have sucked out of my genetic gene pool, and here i am 5 year later at 14 st :cry:but this is what kebab and cider does to the female form, so here i am one week in i lost 4.5 pounds this week and i am a hoping that i can maybe shift at least a stone and a half before xmas so wish me look ladies XXXX Does anyone know how many syns there are in a big mac?

I was single and living alone on my 25th Birthday, so I thought "sod this" and spent £75 of my birthday money buying a subscription to "Match" dating site. 4 weeks and 6 dates later I met my boyfriend, and we are still together 3 years later :) £75 well spent :)

EDIT - However - I should add- in my experience...a cat makes much less mess in your home than a boyfriend.

I think that was a years subscription....:confused:which was actually a bit of a waste as I didn't use much of it:rolleyes:

I just went for a look and can't find the cost ANYWHERE on the site, just a 7 day free trial to try and get you hooked in!!

It may not be for everyone, but I was living in the a*se-end of no-where and only meeting pi**ed-up no-brainers whenever I went for a night out. It gave me the chance to meet some decent people who were in the same position as me.

At the time I'd only just got internet connection for the first time too, I guess if I'd been more familiar with forums and chatrooms on the internet £75 would have seemed a bit steep....

oh my god thats fab £75 what a bargain lol thats cheered me up, well ladies i have been more naughty this week and gone over my syns on a few days, i find that food seems to call to me in the night sometimes i really get the munchies at night so i have decided to make a huge amount of something free and just have it there in case i want to gorge, thats the best thing about slimming world being able to feel full and not feel guilty i love it makes me enjoy food even more which i'm not sure is a good thing or not lol I went out at the weekend and a few people noticed i had lost weight which is nice i'm pretty tall so when it comes off it shows as the weight is evenly spread lol i cant wait to see wed i hope i lost 2.5 then i will have got my half stone in tqwo weeks XXX
