EE today

Breakfast: coffee (milk 2 syns)
Lunch: pearl barley & chicken soup
Dinner: burgers with bacon, beans and salad (HEA and HEB plus 6 syns for extra pitta)
Snacks: more soup, baby beetroot, sliced turkey, shape yoghurt (.5 syn) wispa ice cream bar (6 syns) banana, satsuma, apple, medley bar (7 syns)
Total syns: 21.5

Dinner: stroganoff with sweet potato mash, broccoli, carrots, peppers & onion (3.5 syns for sauce)
Snacks: satsuma, banana, baby beetroot, turkey slices
Total syns: 17

I stopped smoking on Tuesday, can you tell? I can't stop eating :(:(:(:(

EE today, having a few drinky poos tonight so syns will be over.

Dinner: turkey stir fry
Snacks: satsuma, apple, banana
Alcohol: 4 vodkas (so far!) small measures! 10 syns

Didn't have any more vodka after those:)

Lost half a pound this week. Had a feeling since mid week that it would be a STS or a half off, better than it going on but it's still disappointing. Still 4lbs off in 2 weeks though!

EE today, have decided to use flexi syns (approx 60) as we're having some drinks tonight.

Breakfast: fat free onken, banana, fibre bar (HEB) coffee (milk 2 syns)
Lunch: ham slices, satsuma
Dinner: slow cooked beef chilli with tortillas & salad (12 syns)
Snacks: strawberry yoghurt bar (7 syns) WW yoghurt, apple, satsuma, crisps (5 syns) cereal bar (4 syns). Drinks - 5 vodkas 12.5 syns
Total syns: 40

Weekly total: 158 / 140.... Ok, next week I will aim for 120 over the week to balance this out lol.

EE today. I know last week wasn't bad but I can't help feeling like it was because I went over syns a couple of days, so today is a fresh start for me :)

Breakfast: coffee (milk HEA)
Lunch: chopped mango, poached eggs on toast (HEB plus 2 syns marge), jammy dodger cereal bar (4 syns)
Dinner: spaghetti meatballs with super free sauce (celery, carrot, pepper, onion, tomato)
Snacks: 2 mini Philly frittatas (3.5 syns) WW yoghurt, satsuma, banana, rf pb & banana on toast (10 syns)
Total syns: 19.5

So because of last week's syns I'm aiming for a weekly total of 120 this week, which is about 17 a day, obviously I'm already over that today but I can balance it out over the week...:D

Got a lot of studying to do today for my exam on Wednesday. Seriously bricking it - I know eff all about this particular topic so I need to study or wing it.. think I'll study! So, got my nicotine inhaler thing and a loaded fruit bowl - here we go :)

Lunch: FF onken yoghurt, chopped mango, slice of ham
Dinner: BBQ pork & fried rice with peppers, onion, leeks (BBQ sauce is approx 4 syns)
Snacks: hm lentil soup, velvet crunch (4 syns) carrot batons, shape yoghurt (0.5 syns) grapes, rf pb & banana on toast (HEB 4 syns) 1/2 strawberry yoghurt bar (3.5 syns)

It's confession time. I think one of my 'tweaks' is backfiring on me. Basically I have coffee throughout the day and just assume my A choice will cover the milk / guess 2 syns for it on low coffee days, and so far it has (or I've been getting away with extra syns). Well the scales have been showing a 3lb gain all week and I think the milk is to blame.

It could be totm because I'm on depo so I still get the feelings of a period - mood swings, cramps, bloating some times, but no actual period, this tends to happen when my depo is due and it's due in 2 weeks ish, so it could be that. Or it could be the extra 20 syns I had last week (not counting extra milk) or it could be because I haven't done my 30DS every single day since finishing level 2. It might even be a random fluctuation that will be gone by WI day. I don't usually let the numbers bother me, but this has because I actually calculated how many extra milk syns I've been having.....

Approx 50ml of SS milk in coffee in the morning = 2 syns I think? This is sometimes all I have and if i count it as an A it's not really the full lot is it?
However some days, college days, I then go on to have approx 350ml to 700ml of skimmed milk. That's 2 A choices, or about 18 syns. Not good.

So anyway I'm writing this on here so that when WI comes and I do gain I can see this and know that it isn't an unfair gain!

From now on I am counting my milk properly!!! I am also considering lowering my syns to 15 - I'll see what happens next WI with the new milk regime, if the scales are still going up/STS then the syns are being reduced! :)

Edit: I think 18 syns is wrong, I thought 350ml was 9 syns but it's 568ml and I'm rubbish at maths so maybe it's more like 12 syns? Still a lot to go over by, even if you deduct 6 for the A, add 2 for the SS stuff, it's 8 syns extra a day :(

After my confession last night I woke up this morning to my not-so-monthly friend, so maybe the 3lb gain is totm related after all! I did count my milk and cut down on college coffee tho!

Breakfast: coffee (5 tbsp 1.5 syns) medley bar (7 syns)
Lunch: skinny latte (approx 300ml skimmed milk HEA) ham salad sandwich (HEB 3 syns)
Dinner: slow cooked beef curry (made with courgette, peppers, onions, tomatoes, sweet potato, coriander, chillies, garlic, random curry spices) with basmati rice
Snacks: pineapple, 2 satsumas, WW mini roll thing (4.5 syns) banana, baby beetroot
Alcohol: vodka x 5 (10 syns) baked crisps (5 syns)
Total syns: 31

Having a few vodkas tonight :) might stop at 20 syns... Might not!

A HEX is about 6 syns penguin.

Milk, Skimmed milk, 100ml 1½
Milk, Semi-skimmed milk, 100ml 2½

250ml Semi Skimmed is a HEXA (6 syns)
375ml Skimmed is a HEXA (6 syns)

I wouldnt worry too much, its probably just a random fluctuation or any of the other things you listed, one WI means absolutely zero, but it probably a good idea to keep an eye on measuring it. And I am always amazed at how many syns you get away with! :D

I think I did the milk thing right yesterday? Synned the SS stuff and used my A for the skinny latte, it was 75mls short but better than being a whole A choice over imo!

Well yeah you were right, it was random, weighed in this morning and I'm down 2lbs from last week :eek: so the 3lbs effed off and so did another 2 - chuffed! I really don't let the midweek numbers bother me usually but because I know that I've been sneaking milk I thought it had all caught up :eek:

Haha do I really get away with lots? I do try to make up for high syn days with lower syn days, could be how I get away with them :D I am going to lower them soon tho - I was thinking of dropping to 17.5 just now, then down to 15 when I hit 19 stone. When I lost with SW the first time, it stopped working around 19st 7 - 10lbs ish, and instead of changing anything I just felt disheartened and stopped going, so I think I will need to lower my syns soon anyway :D

Snacks: kiwi fruit, clementine, toast with 1tbsp choc Philly (2.5 syns bread, 4 syns Philly)
Total syns: 13.5


Oh oh oh I added up my syns so far and if I keep them low today I will have almost balanced out the extra 20 from last week:)

Had about 20 syns worth of vodka last night, oops! Ah well so much for balancing out syns. Dropping to 17.5 as of today! Or 122.5 a week.

Dinner: roast chicken, broccoli, carrots, peas, roast potatoes, stuffing & gravy (10 syns)

Tomorrow my B choice & syns are being used for peanut butter, chocolate philadelphia and banana on toast. Omg! Wish I had the syns for it tonight but I've used my B and the stuffing is like 6 syns! Mmmm tomorrow's breakfast is gonna rock!

Nah I think I probably get away with about as many syns as you, it's just I have the whole lot on a Saturday and then behave the rest of the week :rolleyes: I think my days average about 20 syns if I spread the 'cost' of Saturday out over the week :eek: Thinking I ought to start cutting back a bit, MFP is telling me I wont be losing anything at this rate :whistle:

I think we spend our extra syns wisely tho, it's not as if we're having a KFC every week! My extra syns are usually on milk, cereal bars, low syn things, I think that makes a difference :) Anyway whatever syn method we use it seems to be working for us, so don't fix it til it's broke :D I've come down to 17.5 as of today to see what happens! Not really fussed if I go over tho!

Yeah I can't wait til we are out of there! Will get my 2 stone sticker and be in a stone I haven't seen for a long time :)

Wow I actually managed to stop at 17.5 yesterday - serious achievement! I was really hungry, but not really, just had nicotine withdrawal hunger! So I'm pretty pleased that I didn't munch everything in sight :D

So tonight's dinner was meant to be a risotto (not the salmon pasta as I originally put in here) and I cooked it, put in as much super free as possible and right at the end I threw in a pack of prawns. Well the prawns were off! Ugh!! They didn't even smell or anything, not until they were heated up! I took one out to check they were hot through and ughhh it was horrible. Served up the risotto thinking it was just that one prawn - nope, all of them were horrible and had ruined my risotto!!!!! So now my bf is saving the day by making a tomato sauce and we're just having that with some rigatoni. I honestly could cry!!!! The prawns were dated until the 9th, only bought them on Saturday, so upset :( :mad:

Ooh another 17.5 day yesterday! I am missing those extra syns but I'm sure I'll get used to not having them! Will stick with the 17.5 allowance for another 22lbs I think, so going down to 15 at around 18st. Woah 18st, haven't seen that number since I was about 16. Looking forward to it though!
