Exercise Ideas Please

So I have spent the afternoon reading through some of the posts on the forum and one of the stickies mentions how important exercise is.

Unfortunately I broke my ankle in june and after a couple of ops I am still in plaster and will be for quite a while yet.

Does anybody have any ideas of how I can get some kind of exercise?

swimming is great, walking... but your in plaster hmmmm

you could try posting in the exercise section,theres a lot of exercise help there :)

doing anything that gets your heart rate up for now would be fab. until you are able to move about more maybe try going for a short walk with your crutches (assuming thats what you have)
try some arm muscle building exercises... stomach crunchs.. it all helps and will get your heart rate going...

thanks for that, bought a sit up thingy and will give that a go! So can't wait till i can get this thing off and actually get some exercise!
