Exercise on LT

Has anyone been exercising whilst on LT? I only lost 2lbs this week and I'm absolutely determined to lose more than that next week! I think part of it was probably because I've not been getting the right amount of water. Can we exercise on this diet? I feel full of energy so I don't think it would make me feel ill or anything. If you have been exercising what have you been doing and has it helped your weight loss?

It is advised you don't exercise in the first week but after that you can exercise to your hearts content.
I haven't done much really so can't help there but will be starting the gym next week.
 
hiya well ive lost 2 1/2st and know think its time to hit the gym to help the rest get moving i have been using the wii fit 2-3 times aweek but got bored I also started walking to work 2 wks ago its only 2miles but when your sat on your bum all day anythings better than nothing

With LT you will loose weight regardless if you exercise or not however obviously exercise is good.
LT recommend that ideally you dont start exercising until atleast a couple of weeks into the diet and you body has had time to adjust.
 
My first week ends tomorrow and i'm feeling restless like i'm picking up pace and energy..i'm pretty motivated to do some exercise daily.is it ok to do so after the first week and did/does anyone else feel like this? xx

i know they say not to do exercise in the first couple of weeks but ive only been on it for 12 days and i can already see how disgusting and saggy your skin looks when your losing so fast. Ive only lost 15lbs so far but my arms feel like bat wings and its not nice. Ive been doing toning exercises and also using palmers firming cream everywhere!... once your body adjusts to lipo i suggest everyone does exercise a couple of times a week...
for now im doing like 50 sit ups per night, toning exercises for my arms and legs, butt clenches (dont laugh it really works!) a couple of times a week!

sharron i need to find myself a blinking tape measure! trust me on the first day i think i managed to do about 2 sit ups and couldnt handle it!! lol... it gets better. i do sit ups alot for the past few months but i started off by doing 10 and then adding another 10 on the next night. it makes it way easier!

I went back to work today after almost 2 weeks off and everyone has commented on how well i look and have also said that i look alot thinner. Im a size 22 at the moment and my work clothes were big on me so i am hoping that by next week i will be at least a proud 20!

I agree with Sharon 50 sits ups per night, omg well i managed about 2 tonight :whoopass:so not really that great collapsed after that but hey I am defintely following that regime, gosh ya should be a personal trainer after this!! What other toning exercises to do ya do for your arms (this is mainly my worst area and tummy). I tried to do the butt clenches but I keeled over and couldnt stop laughing, sorry.....:giggle:Ya will be whipping us all into shape.....lol
 
i think u really have to give your body time to adjust, when i first started this diet i could hardly even do my housework because i felt so drained. but i'm ok now. and of course as you lose more weight it obviously becomes easier to exercise as well. i do 15 minutes on the treadmill, 10 minutes on the exercise bike, and 35 minutes on the Wii Fit every day xxx
 
OMG!!! I am tired just thinking of doing a sit up - not for me lol! I am trying to hula hoop my way fitter with the nintendo wii tho - notice I'm much less out of breath than before . :party0011:
 
HEHE... man i wish I had a wii fit! I dont think I will manage any sit ups today because of my bloody butt clenches! i cant sit on my ass properly! hehe. oh well!.... Ive dragged my bike and stepper out and (dusted them) so Im hoping to get started on that tomorrow. I have moved my room around and made myself a lil mini gym in my room.... you should see my weights collection (cans of beans) lol
Miss-unknown - if you build yourself up slowly you should be fine!... i was terrible at sit ups but ive got everyone doing them with me now!...
to be honest with you i have been doing anything and everything with my arms coz i wanna get rid of my bat wings. when no one is around i just swing my arms around (haha just to give them some exercise) and a friend of mine said to stand in one spot and pretend your running but put all your energy into my arms.... i just feel like a silly old woman in the supermarket when i do it and it makes me laugh.

Im not very pleased with this weeks weigh in but i think now i just need to do lotsa exercise to help my body burn fat coz god knows i have a load of it!
 
Just to let you.l try get a little walk in most days as l have a back injury theres not alot of exercises l can do,but after 5weeks on lipotrim l'm down 2st 5lb's so l think alittle exercise help's burn up those extra lb's . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. lrish cailin xx:D

Ya are defintely a woman with a mission, ya are now my inspiration so I will be keeping a close eye on ya so to speak and checking in on the exercise and how its going!! All the best hun!!
 
hahah... awwww.... thank you! now thats the first time someone said that to me! Im glad I could help in some way! Im definitely a woman on a mission coz I really wanna knock the socks off my other half on our wedding day!.... Im actually not seeing him until mid Jan because I want to give it a proper go and dont want any distractions!... (breaking my heart but will be well worth it!)

How are you getting on with them sit ups? Somebody really needs to kick my ass so that I get on with drinking water! I can just about manage a litre and half! grrr
 
When ya getting married hun? I am trying to knock the socks off the fellas sister, she has me down as a fat cow and not fit to stick to it!! By god I am going to show her, ive never been more determined in my life. On the sit ups, managed 10 tonight....omg....tomorrow night its going to be 12, I am sure they will get easier. I still havent managed those butt clenches..i just end up laughing myself silly!!
 
hahah... the butt clenches make me wanna pee! ... but i have a weird fat ass so i really gotta do something about that. I am getting married in aug 09 but I will be meeting my future hubby's entire family in 2 months and it will be the first time most of them meet me so i wanna make an impression!.... aww ignore the fella's sister... but if it makes you stronger than keep it in mind!... i just keep thinking about the big day and think... its the most important day of my life and i wanna look hot!.... my other half is joining the gym coz he said he wants to look just as good when he is stood next to me... lol....as long as he gets rid of his homer belly im good!... lol
I have about 10stones to lose and i have 10 months before my wedding. my goal is 1stone per month!

when are you getting married hun??
 
I am racing down the aisle on 14th March 2009!! Like yourself I have about 10 stones to lose but would love around 4 stone off for the wedding. I can't seem to get into it this week at all, I have been hot and cold this last couple of days, the fella says i'm coming down with the flu....i bloody hope not, its the last thing I want.

All the best in meeting the fella's family. I met them three months ago and it certainly went off with a bang. I got on really well with his mum and dad but sister didnt like me from the first time she set eyes on me. She can't get used to the whole "i'm white" and "he's asian" type of thing and doesnt believe people mix in that way!! Everyone has their own opinions I guess!! So ya got all your planning done?

You know something I know that feeling - I cant seem to get into it much these days!... I have thought about subway so much today its amazing... but i dont feel hungry! I just wanna eat!... I hope your not falling ill! If you do start getting down with a cold try day and night nurse... i survived on that last week!

Glad meeting the family went well for ya! Ignore the sister.... i think the whole asian white thing is so over-rated!... Im sure she will get over the whole asian thing! Im asian and I know that alot of my asian friends' families would probably react badly if they were getting married to a white person - so I would say that the most important thing is that you got along with the parents... the sister will have to just go and hide in a corner till she gets over it!.. So what kind of a do are you gonna have? are you gonna mix it up ?

I havent even got started on the planning hun!... all I have done is book the chocolate fountain... (mmmm 5 tiers of chocolate heaven) hehe... priorities! lol... Im gonna get started on it in January. Just researching now.... :)
