A VERY off plan weekend! Why do I do this to myself?
 
Ok so my weekend has looked like this...

Friday Food Diary...

Breakfast - strawberries, blueberries, liberte ( 1 syn ), weetabix ( HEXb )

Lunch - LF Supernoodles, babybel light ( HEXa ), babycorn, bbq chicken

Dinner (out) - satay prawns & prawn crackers (naughty), steamed seabass w/ steamed jasmine rice (not naughty)

Snacks - banana, piece victoria sponge :(

2 large rose wine
Water

Exercise - Spin (45 mins)

Total cals = 1814


Saturday Food Diary...

Breakfast - 2 sm wholemeal (HEXb), bacon, egg, ketchup, bertolli light

Lunch (out) - macaroni cheese

Dinner - chicken, half large chips, curry sauce

Snacks - maltesers

2.5 pts cider
1 bottle white wine

Exercise - body conditioning (45 mins)

Total cals = 2380 :(


Sunday Food Diary...

Breakfast - porridge made w/ water, banana, 1 tbsp jam, splash of skimmed milk

Lunch (out) - deli board full of cheese, pate, bread and half a pork pie, gherkins, pickled onions, roast beef

Dinner - coco pops w/ skimmed milk

Snacks - 2 percy pigs tails, 1 piece dairy milk

Ginger beer
2 tea w/ skimmed milk
Water

Total cals = 1548

Goes to show how many calories you can consume when you're not mindful!

I weighed myself on one of those boots weight machines this morning and I can no longer live in denial that my scales at home are broken...

10st 5lbs it is. I'm really hopeful those additional 2lbs are muscle but my body fat % isn't as low as I'd hoped either. Why can't I skip the boozy/foody weekends!?

New goal is to get to between 18-22% body fat!

Hi guys. So I'm back!

Non-stop indulgence since the wedding has started to take it's toll so it's time to kickstart the New Year with a return to SW. My husband has gained quite a bit of weight since the wedding so I'm putting us both back on the diet. I'm planning to do it religiously this month as I'm also doing dry January which makes things a bit easier. Also planning to restart my gym membership this week which I cancelled after starting a part-time graphic design course as I was struggling to find the time (and motivation) to get to the gym. Planning to start going before work (I'm not a morning person so we'll see how that goes!) Hopefully if I'm angelic for this month it will get me back into a healthier attitude.

So here's my food diary for today (I'll update throughout the day). No WI today as planning to do it on Wednesdays as I did before so will update then.

Food Diary...

Breakfast - frozen berries, liberte blueberry (1 syn), 35g dorset muesli (HEXb), actimel 0% (1.5 syns)

Lunch - chilli con carne w/ rice, 10g rf cheddar (HEXa)

Dinner - cup a noodle to go mild curry, apple

Snacks - kiwi, 3 sea salt caramels (6 syns guesstimate), 2 ryvita (3.5 syns) w/ 10g philadelphia light & marmite

3 tea w/ skimmed milk (HEXa)

Total syns (so far) = 12

Has anyone tried boo tea? I fancy giving it a go but it's a bit expensive.
 
Went to boots to weigh myself this morning - pleasant surprise for my weight but not so much for my body fat percentage! Need to get back to the gym!!

Just popping in to subscribe. Re: Bootea - apparently it's just like peppermint tea so I would just try that and see if it helps.

Thanks. It's the night one I'm interested in as apparently it's a bit like having a colonic (lovely). In that it flushes out all your nasties. The website says it's best to have the first one at the weekend. Sounds like it could do some good.

I know that Holland & Barret do a slimmatea that has senna in it (natural laxative) so that could be an alternative also?

Thanks for the tip I'll give that one a go as the bootea is £20 for a 2 week detox plus £4p&p!!!
 
I joined the gym again yesterday and actually went before work!!! I love my bed so that is a huge achievement. Off again shortly for an abs blast class and a swim then planning to go to pilates and body conditioning in the morning. Plan is to go either Wednesday or Thursday before work then do those classes on Friday and Saturday. If I can keep that up I'll be very pleased with myself!

Second weekend of dry January done. A glass of wine would of gone down very nicely last night but instead my friend came over and we had syn free curry and sparkling water and played board games with the hubby - very rock n roll! I went out for lunch with a friend yesterday to a local Manchester chain called Gusto and had a SW friendly meal so did alright yesterday overall. I also went to Holland & Barrett to get the Slimatea but they sold the bootea so I caved and bought it. Going to start it tomorrow and have my first night time one on Tuesday as I have college Monday and Tuesday nights and don't fancy having to get up every half an hour to go to the loo! My colleague is doing it the moment and her first time having it she had 8 poos in a day :eek:!

Lunch (out) - tagliatelle w/ prawns, garlic and sweet chilli tomato sauce (4 syns guesstimate for fresh pasta, oil and anything added to the sauce) & rocket, 1 tbsp parmesan (HEXa)

Dinner - chicken balti w/ pilau rice (made using this recipe), raita, 1 tbsp mango chutney (1.5 syns)

Dessert - meringue nest (2.5 syns), raspberries, natural yoghurt

Snacks - tesco slight bites corners (5 syns)
