Extra Easy SP Extra Easy SP Plan

Hi - I'm new and loving all the wonderful advice and pictures you post. I have question about EE SP. If bananas, potatoes etc are not free how do you work out how many syns they are if you eat them on EE SP? thanks

Bananas and potatoes are free on ee but they are not a speed or protein food so they can't be used on the sp plan. Only foods with an S or P against them can be used.

They are left in limbo - you don't count them as syns, you can have them 'occasionally', but it is better not to. Personally I try not to but don't panic when, for example, testing if the children's pasta is cooked and I have put a small spoonful of yogurt on my fruit once or twice.

Thought I would have a productive Sunday so I decided to weigh & bag up all my Healthy Extras.
Not only does it save time when in a hurry but it's also really good for knowing when you are down to your last couple of portions of cereal or cheese.
Here we have 35g of plain porridge oats, 35g Nestle Shredded Wheat, 35g of Nestle Coco Shreddies, 40g of Weetabix Crunchy Bran. 30g of Red Leicester cheese & 30g of Cheddar.
This should all keep me going & on plan for a while. I got the little snack bags from Poundland which are a great size for your portions too. I have also seen some similar bags in Asda & Sainsbury's.

Now that is what I call dedication!

I made a real effort to do an SP week and had high hopes - only to loose a pound. It clearly doesn't work for me, back on EE and enjoying my jacket pots again!

When it first came out I was really wanting to try the new plan but after hearing all the negatives about it, I'm sticking to EE which I know is working xx I think its not a bad plan if you been off plan and want a boost but to throw it in amongst the EE plan I don't think it works as such x

Having another mischievous week this week! Seems I have a great week then a not so great week. It's the 'eating out' side of things that always throws me! Anytime i'm away i'm just like meh....i'll have whatever I fancy. Any tips on how to be better while out eating? I know what I should be having but because its 'a special' occasion, i'd seem to link it with treating myself.

Weigh in tomorrow and I have a feeling I may not have lost anything just because of two days away again....we'll see!

Im seem to be same recently but after all we are only human xx Not sure how these that go vcld diets do it lol

I had my weigh in today and this week I had a loss of 1 1/4. I total loss of 8 lbs in two weeks. I'm really motivated by this result. I'm looking some convenient lunch ideas for work. I feel like I'm constantly eating the same food and it's getting boring. I'm currently eating pasta with tinned tomatoes or chicken breast with vegetables. Any ideas?

I could not live with having that for lunch everyday! No chance! I'm just having soup and a sandwich generally (which I can change up to whatever kind I like) or a baked potato with filling and salad. Today was the SW Italian Chicken soup and a tuna sandwich (1 tin tuna, 1 tbsp Extra light Mayo 1 syn, vinegar and pepper). The bread is my HEb. It's really filling and keeps you going!

Soup covers you for a few days and is on hand if you get hungry in the evenings and the sandwich I make up for taking to work the night before so theres no hassle.

I weigh tomorrow but I'm starting so in the morning I was just wondering what people lose a week on it I be read a lot but I don't see a lot of results

Seems to all be different for each individual person. On SP i've seen the people lose anything for 1lb to 7lb in a week. You can't really tell. Alot of people have their results in their signatures.

Does anyone have a download of the SP Food Diary? Wasn't into class yesterday because of the snow and they seem to have removed printed diaries from the website now they are "trialing" this new online one. SO frustrating. Anyway, it does say they can be found in the Support Top Up section but they aren't there.

ive decided to have an SP day today (my first) as its star week:rolleyes: but had my usual breakfast of porridge with honey and banana without thinking.

have i screwed up already?

lol
