Fair, forty but not fat!

Thank you both :)

The weekend in London has done about 1lb of damage, but that will come off pretty quickly. My eating wasn't far beyond limits, but the G&Ts may well account for the problem!

Fabulous weekend though, so no regrets. It's not a permanent regain and could well be water retention rather than real weight. We'll see in the next couple of days!

So, back to it. Belvita for breakfast and a nice hot chorizo salad for lunch...

1 lb for an amazing weekend?, seems like a very good trade off and it d be positivity rude not too. yes your right it is probably water retention or virtual weight as i like to call it, so get it off quick and it doesn t do any damage

here s to another week of good behaviour. id best be really good this week as im away at the weekend to see a friend and can just about guarantee that there will be damage
jxx

Looks like it's water. Only 1/4 of a lb away from where I was on Friday this morning. Should be back on track in the morning and might even sneak in a tiny loss.

It's really difficult balancing socialising with diet, isn't it? Hope the weekend is a fabulous one for you :)

Back to pre-London weight and hoping for a little drop before the weekend. This stone seems to be taking forever, but that's partly down to a lot of eating out and meeting up with friends. 1.5lb to get to the stone marker. 3 more lbs from there until I stop seeing the number 14 on the scales. It's not far and I really want to hit both in the next couple of weeks. March is going to be serious diet time; 2lbs a week and no alcohol! Or else!

;)

Not sure what's on today's menu. Fancying crayfish with a light lemon mayo dip...

Yay go moog!!! I'm finally losing again... holiday + christmas + moving house = eating like a twit!!! It's taken me two months to get back to my pre holiday weight... not convinced all the eating was worth it... I could have been down another half stone by now!!! Xxx

Your loss is amazing. With the house move and everything, I think you deserve to be cut some slack and you're on the downward slide again already. Fabulous, fabulous stuff.

Here's to the next couple of pounds :D

Wtg moog!!! Im feeling the same about march, Im seriously gonna kick some diet ass.... I hope.

We ARE going to kick diet ass. No ifs or buts. That weight loss is ours ;)

Less than a lb to go until the stone marker and I'm eating Twiglets for breakfast. ***head desk***

So tonight is pizza. Well, it's a sort of faux pizza, but it's not bad at all.

I've got two mini soft wraps (less than 100 calories each) with a smoothing of passata, some very low cal fresh mozzarella (55 cals) and some thinly sliced pepperoni (50 cals) for the topping. No idea what they're going to taste like, but it's 2 mini pizzas for under 300 calories. Not bad, even if I do say so myself.

Fingers crossed for weigh in tomorrow...

Sounds lovely moog. I use those square wraps and do something similar. Enjoy! :)

It was really nice. Have quite a lot of wraps left, so either need to persuade the kids to eat them or it'll be another small pizza for lunch today!

I'm 1lb down this week, 13lbs in total. Coming up to TOTM, which is horrible timing as I really want this last lb to be gone! I want to do the getting rid of a stone dance :)

I'm being so good at the moment, it's ridiculous. But is the weight coming off? Not likely :( A complete stall.

It's TOTM which doesn't help, I know, but even so...

:(

Eventually, the scales have flickered down. That's a stone gone in total :D :D :D I'm doing the dance of much celebration this morning.

Looks like my loss might only be a lb a week, which will be almightily frustrating. Last time it averaged 2 lbs, but I was 300 calories or so lower every day. I daren't drop any lower without medical advice, so it is what it is. However much that might annoy me...

Your first stone... I'm doing the dance!!! Whoop whoop!!!

Weight still nicely stable today and I'm in my size 16 jeans.

Wooohooo!

Oooh - this is looking a bit more promising this week. Dropped a lb since weigh-in already, which brings me to 30lbs to lose until I reach the weight I was last time. That's just over 2 stones and definitely do-able. I'm also on the cusp of dropping down to 'merely' overweight with my BMI.

This morning is looking good. Now I'm off to have my hair done, so hopefully I'll be feeling good about myself later too :)

Glam hair, weight staying steady and the diet going well. Can't grumble.

Work is insane at the moment, but I know I've got to get back to the cross-trainer. I'm so so tired when I finally get in every night though, it's difficult to find the motivation, and there's still work to be done at home as well. It'll ease up at the end of March, but that still feels a long way off.

Steady, steady, steady. Another good week with no slippages and no further weight loss.

Going to start logging my food intake on here again, but I'm being sooooo good it's ridiculous.

Breakfast yesterday: Belvita
Lunch - salmon flakes, salad and grapes
Dinner - prawn omelette
Snack - Graze's strawberry milkshake

Where am I going wrong?

Sometimes our bodies need time to catch up. The only way you'll stop losing weight is if you quit!

You have no idea what is happening with your fat and muscle composition on the inside. Better to be slow and steady losing mostly fat... why for the sake of seeing something on the scales would anyone want to lose muscle, I know you don't, so stop this unhelpful thinking and just keep swimming. Xxx

You're probably right. I'm 1 lb down again this week. It's tough because last time was a pretty reliable 2lb a week and I could see results. This way, it'll take me until the summer to lose this second stone - and that's if I'm lucky.

I'm starting to wonder if there's any way to get back to the GP so I can do what I did last time...
