Feeling rubbish today

hi guys,

not like me to be miserable but i really am today for some reason. its not hormones or anything and to be fair everything in the life of sarahlou is pretty rosey, so i'm not sure what it is!

might be work - big boss wants an annual review next week and my lovely direct boss is usually present to protect me! but he's gonna be on hols and this makes me very nervous! not that i'm doing badly at work but i have a project that i've been working on for months and i know big boss wanted it finished ages ago but its no where near due to other projects that became priority! oh i'm just feeling sorry for myself.

need some cheering up i think :cry:

Hey Sarahlou,

Sorry to here your feeling down, I was like that yesterday and today just feel a whole lot happier :D Think it was just a case of one of those days!!

I am not an expereinced litptrimmer yet (only my third day) so i am probably not the best with advice but I would suggest if you need some cheering up obviously come on this fantastic forum but also just look at that AMAZING weight loss of yours...wow! I only hope I can be as sucessful! Hope your feeling better soon x

Aww, hope your day improves. Look forward to getting home this evening and doing something nice for yourself :) whether it's a TV programme or a nice hot latte shake...

Me I'm going to watch 'Economy Gastronomy' on BBC2, i love food programmes/magazines anyway but definitely bordering on obsessive now!!

Glad its not just me who's addicted to food programmes......I get annoyed with the re-runs on Good Food!!!! lol!!!

I'm currently obsessed with that Hairy Bikers programme... 5.15 on BBC2. They cook some AMAZINGLY decadant and wonderful stuff! MMM!

Sorry you're having a bad day hun. It's hard when work is getting you down/stressing you out. I don't know about you, but it's at times like that I'd be phoning for take-out or buying family size packs of mars bars!! When other areas of our life are stressful it feels a bit miserable that we can't comfort ourselves in our old friends the fatty foods!

In terms of cheering you up...LOOK at your incredible weight losses!!! You must be a whole lot slimmer and healthier than a few months ago. You're being brave, strong, pro-active and managing this tough regime amazingly.

NOW...if I were your big boss... I'm sure I'd see all of those wonderful personal qualities in your work- you must be a great employee!

Don't worry about the things you can't do anything about...just keep on doing what you're doing. You're someone a lot of us look upto and never forget that!

Aww sorry to hear you are feeling rubbish - but can I join you ? I feel so crap and tired today. All I want to do is eat - don't care what it is but just want something to eat.

Its not helping that my dad is in hospital, was due to have an op - they sort of did it - ie they opened him up and saw something unexpected and closed him up again after taking samples. The poor thing is in severe pain and upset that his op did not take place, and will probably have to go through it all again at least twice more :cry:

So consequently I just want food - anything will do !!!!

I know that I have had fantastic losses and I really want to see what my loss will be after 9 days so am really trying to hold out. I feel so tired and emotional right now.

Tummy is rumbling like mad !!! Am so so sick of water, coffee and tea... but I know that if I give in all my effort and money spent over the last few weeks will be just a waste of time and pointless.

I hope to get over the bump very soon and sorry Sarahlou for hijacking your thread .

big hugs hun. Sorry to hear about your Dad being in hospital...I hope they do the op on him and he's better soon.

It's times of distress that we reach for our comforts isn't it? But babe...you're doing so so so well. Everything I said to Sarahlou applies to you too. Don't give up now. Imagine the happiness you'll feel when you have that 9 day WI?!

Thanks Determined - of course you are right - I just gotta take it a day at a time - after all its not long til weigh in really.

Thanks Sarahlou - yes I am sure that we will both be so much better tomorrow :D

I love this forum - there is always someone "listening".

I think tonight will be a long hot shower with my fave showergel, (no bath in the house lol !!), dig out the best body lotion and smother myself in it and then a nice early night :D

SarahLou and Jools it sounds like you are both having a tough time today. These are some of the stresses that make us all head for the comfort food or a binge. It must be hard to resist but resist you must!!! as you are both doing well on your journey to new and lighter selves. Everone is right, pamper yourselves tonight and look it the mirror and acknowledge that you are beautiful inside and out. Take heart.
