Got my fingers crossed for you Lizzie
Another lurker joining in to wish Lizzie much luck with her weigh in tonight.
It really is refreshing seeing how honest you guys are with your weight, and how it affects you. I don't think I was the same when I started out at 22 stone, but of course I didn't have the internet support available now.
Back to one thing Lizzie said earlier - that she was disappointed with her 7lbs loss in 10 days because she'd lost that much in her first week on WW. True. I think I lost more than that with my healthy eating plan the first week BUT, from then on, it was a meagre slow 2lbs a week... whereas with a VLCD the high numbers will stay with you far longer
So give it a chance. The rest of your life stretches in front of you and I now can enjoy life to the full, each and every minute, now that I've reached target
I shall be watching for an update
You know what though.. (and I too am seriously impressed by Maintainer!!)... if your head isn't in the right place it doesn't matter how good the support is... that's my take on it.
I always had loads of fab support throughout my dieting yo yo years... never before though was my head in the right place (I mean, of course it was on my shoulders supported by my neck), well, you know what I mean. You only need to read this site thoroughly and you can see that so many of our fellow travellers really aren't in the right head space at the moment despite all the fab support, and that's ok.. because with the support perhaps they will get there and that will make a difference.. anyway... just saying.. lol... Looking forward to hearing how it goes Lizzie xxx
It is all about our own attitudes and motivations and determination and thinking. (In my opinion anyway)
thank yoooooo!!
im so impressed maintainer!! all that weight off in such a short time and on your own, THATS what i want to do but seem unable to so im on this route. what was your kick start to losing weight??
