    Hi folks, This is my second day on WW. I think I'm doing ok but normally on a Friday we have fish and chips from our local takeaway. I was just wondering if anyone knew how many points cod and chips is please? :rolleyes:

    Cod in Batter with chips according to the Eat Out guide is 14.5 for a medium sized portion.

    chips are 7pts for 170g which is ALOT less than your average portion so get your scales out :) and the cod is about 11pts

    I had a ceasar salad the other day that came in at a whopping 14pts (albeit with bread and very yummy) so I would be very surprised if fish and chips comes out the same. Sorry Helga but I think Smirky and WMBB could be right - likely to be much higher than 14pts.

    Found this;

    from site which not allowed to post links anymore too but;
    Chippy

    Portion of Chips (normal) 9.5
    Portion of Chips (sml) 7.5
    Cod in Batter, Med 7
    Plaice in Batter 8.5
    Haddock in Batter 6
    Battered Cod Roe 6.5

    So depending on what fish (im gonna class it as 7 for arguments sake atm) so 7 and then i'm guessing more than a cone portion (7.5) so probably small/normal portion 9.5 ... so i make it 16.5 :) (sorry i know its probably a lot late lol :) ) xx
