even if you go on a weekday late afternoon/early evening there'll be some stuff with reduced stickers on, the staff that work on the counter are under pressure to get rid of stuff thats going off its date so chances are if you ask if they'll knock a bit more off the price, they will
this is great if you're buying a lot of one type of fish, or all of what's in the counter, and works for the meat counter aswell as fish
9/10 times they will be happy you're taking it off their hands especially if its getting late on in the night xx

Excited about the new me!
Will look at getting some cobbler for tomorrow nights dinner, to do fish chips and mushy peas. Was gonna coat it in egg and flour, but might do it in lemon zest and breadcrumbs now I've seen Heaven's post.

Well chuffed just got back from Asda with some heavily reduced Fishy Bargains!!
2 x Monkfish (very small pieces) 58p each
Large smoked cod 58p
Cod loin 58p
3 pack of Kippers - 28p (are these ok to have, realised smoked mackrel is synned so giving that to hubby)
Yay!!
Really want to do a whole fishy week but finding it difficult what to have it all with, potatoes and veg gets a bit boring after a while. Freezer now full!
