Has anyone else experienced infrequest weight loss in the fisrt week of SS? From Wednesday 15th Nov - Sunday I lost about a stone but since then I've lost nothing?

Am i greedy for wanting more? I'm just worried its come to a total stop.:p:p

This can happen but if you are sticking to the diet 100% then you will be losing weight.

Please try not to scale hop and leave it to your weighin at the CDC's.....by getting the scales all the time it can set the mood for the day if you do not see what you want to see. So put those scales away.

weighing yourself constantly without being aware that your weight does fluctuate can play mind games. I weigh myself everyday but only for focus not because I have an attachment to what the scales say.

People lose weight differently. You almost certainly will not lose anymore before your first weigh in as you have lost a stone in just 4 days (mostly glycogen stores but some fat too). The scales will tend to fluctuate throughout the plan so don't get attached to what they say on any day or even any week. You are advised to look at the weight loss over a month's period in order to take into account the natural fluctuations that occur.

and yes you are being a wee bit greedy to want to lose more but I know exactly how you feel. It is never quick enough! lol.

You have done fab to lose that much in your first week but please don't be disappointed if you don't lose anymore between now and Wednesday. It is normal

Thanks guys - I know it IS greedy but i was just worried - It's goping to take a while to stop weighing my self - I do it 3 times a day (sometimes more) and have done for ever - just take a while to get out of it

I too am a serial weigher - I weigh in the morning, at night, after every wee :p however I take my weight loss from my "official" weigh in with my CDC...sometimes the scales don't seem to move for days, my weight tends to come off the last couple of days of the week, but as long as the scales aren't going up I don't worry too much

Yes I am - I'm on week 5 now and am proud to say I have stuck to it 100% :)

Once you have your first official weigh in and you see the results it spurs you on to continue!

Good luck x Let us know how your first weigh in goes!

Yep I've got another 5 stone (at least) to go - preferably before next May when I get married! That will take me down to 10 stone, I cannot remember ever weighing 10 stone lol - hopefully I will be a size 12!!!
