1st 9 down since I started this new diet attempt (7st 9 altogether since 2018). So thoughts id try again with the measurements (ignoring the ever changing stomach dimensions).

Ok, so on weigh day I stayed the same, but the next day I was 2lb lighter and today im 3lb later, gutted I couldn't write that down, as it would be just 5lb off my next goal. But im going away this weekend to Scotland to judge a dog show, and although I'm taking some slimfast shakes and slim a soups, I did promise to go out for 2 meals with my mum and some other doggy people, so worried that 3lb will be going back on lol.
Fingers crossed, because im on holiday so not picking the low fat option, when in scotland you drink iron bru and eat haggis 🤷‍♀️

You seem well prepared to limit some of the damage, so hopefully the scales will be kind when you come back.

Congratulations on your losses, a bit annoying for you it wasn't on WI day, but you still lost it.

Thanks guys.

I went away to Scotland. Got back on the Monday. Weigh day on the Tuesday and id put 10lb on 😱.
I thought to myself that I'd work really hard and get rid of it before the end of the next week, but star week arrived with a vengeance and my sciatica was hurting and ultimately it led to daily chocolate spread sandwiches, a pot noodle and some cheese. But i still continued to drop a 1lb a day until todays weigh in where I am officially 2lb lighter than I was on my last weigh in. Ive no idea how that has happened 🤷‍♀️, but I'll take it.

weigh day and ive put 1lb on, kind of gutted, ive been hovering between 22.3 and 22.4 all week, definitely hit a brick wall. I considered going back to 100% slimfast to see if i can get over the hurdle, but i don't have enough milk in and shopping doesnt come until Thursday, so i was having a SF porridge for breakfast and a cup a soup for lunch, but it hasn't helped. But then last night I had a small roast, but i cooked my potatoes in oil. I was so full i didnt even have a single snack last night, which is unusual for me, so maybe thats why im a bit higher this morning and it'll be gone tomorrow 😢.
Also unhelpful this week, I bought a bottle of chocolate and spiced pumpkin liqueur, I can usually leave alcohol in the cupboard and not touch it, but this stuff is amazing and ive had 5 shots this week, which I think is 500 calories 🤷‍♀️.
Also had my mri scan the week before last and the doctor phoned me today. I have several bulged discs, some degeneration, nerve pinching and nerve damage. Im not allowed to do any exercise or lift anything heavy 😢 and im being sent to a specialist

Oh dear the MRI results don't sound too good, hope you can get some help from the Drs. You should be able to turn your small gain around by next week, no problem

I knew it. Yesterday I had bacon and tomato (chopped finely and fried in frylight, my favourite way to eat bacon) for breakfast, home made coronation chicken sandwich for lunch and a chicken in white wine sauce microwave meal from asda (which is delicious BTW, lots of sauce for under 400 calories) a packet of cheetos and a glass of liqueur. Today, 3lb lighter than weigh day, yesterday 🤦‍♀️. Stupid bloody scales

Its weird how fussy I am about my breakfast bacon. My ex used to try to replicate my breakfast for me sometimes, he would make bacon and tomato, but whole bacon and halved tomatoes, but it tastes totally different, I dunno why but tomatoes have to be quartered 🤣🤣

Then Sunday was my daughters birthday and I had some picnic food at lunch, then we went out for dinner, but i had a salad. Then yesterday i went with my mum to court (just small claims) and she won, so we went out to celebrate and had a Chinese for lunch, i felt so bloated and sick last night that I didnt have any dinner, which I think is the main cause of me dropping 3lb since yesterday, or i dont know how else I've done it 🤷‍♀️ but 5lb off altogether this week.

Yay well done on losing 5lb especially with the treats :)

I did slim fast a couple of years ago, I did it to start me on my way to calorie counting. It worked really well to get me in the cc mind set but I only did it for a few weeks before starting CC.
