    Hi,

I have 4 kidneys and find that as a result I have to drink more fluids to avoid getting kidney pain due to dehydration.

Daft question but will the filtration effect be hampered by the irritating extra 2 kidneys???!

I think you are best talking to your doctor. As he/she can give you the best advice.
