Fry Light - A question

Too late now but there was no need to throw them out. It is a best before date rather than use by, which only means it may not be as high quality after that date. You can carry on using them after the date. Frylight do say howeverthat you should use the bottle within 6 months of purchase for best results.

Yes, I rather think I had them in the cupboard for more than 6 months, to be honest! I don't use frylight that much. So in the bin they went. I think I am going to be using proper oil and synning it in future anyway.

I use the green frylight and it last a few months - since buying the airfyer i have used it more to make SW chips as i think they cook/taste a little nicer with a spritz of the stuff!

It usually lasts about 3 months - i think!
Out of interest, (you may recall I have the Actifry) have you compared frylight to extra virgin olive oil (hexb) and is there much difference, secondly, does it matter which spuds you use (I only use Maris Piper).
