Garlic dip

    Hi. Does anyone know how to make a syn free garlic dip? I am planning on spending the night on the sofa catching up with the X-factor lol but i miss being able to sit and snack on crisps etc. I'm gonna attemp to make the potato crisps but wana a dip to go with it but they are all high in syns so thought i'd attempt to make my own :D

    Wont be syn free but mix crushed garlic and hellmans extra light mayo which is 1/2 syn per table spoon?

    I have made up a dip in the past by using 2 tblspn extra light mayo, garlic, and quark all mixed together. The mayo helps smooth out the quark and give it a better texture and, because the quark absorbs the flavour of anything added to it, bulks out the mayo and garlic giving you more for less - if you know what I mean!

    I have just found the power of quark... and this is going to be my first thing i make......

    I really really do miss my pringles and dip on a saturday night

    I'd have gone for quark, fat free nat yogurt, bit of lemon juice and crushed garlic.

    Thankyou for all these wonderful ideas! I can't wait to try some, i'm all excited haha! I think i'll try the mayo, garlic and quark one first, thankyou :D

    just made the garlic light mayo and quark and a dash lemon put some onion salt in it seems to have worked well:)

    ohhh must try this it might make the scan bran taste nicer .
