    I read about people put salt/pepper/chilli flakes in there soups but do you think it would be ok to add garlic? i was thinking of drying it out in the oven and grating it over the soups as I love garlic

    You can buy dried minced garlic from all the supermarkets on the herbs and spices section. I have used it throughout (about 2-3 teaspoons per soup!) and it's been fine. :)

    i use garlic pepper, its only ever been in sainsburys that ive found it, its AMAZING stuff.

    cool thanks guys but since i have about 30 garlic blubs (we love it in this house) I am going to dry it out in the oven and grate it up until its run out - no point throwing it away
