Getting back on the Exante Wagon!

I have been on Exante for two weeks now having started on the 7th Nov. I've made no bones about it, I've found it very difficult. The first week I'd get emotional thinking about food, as if it was a friend I'd lost overnight and would never see again! Of course that's not true but it's how I felt strangely.

All has been well and good and I lost around 7lbs in the first week (I used the gyms scales and i'm not 100% sure how accurate they actually are). I went to the gym today and found I've lost around 3lbs this week.... 10lbs in two weeks is not bad going at all! :) I will admit that I was hoping for a little bit more but I think I haven't been drinking enough water -- too many long days at work!

And then I don't know what I was thinking, but tonight I went to Nandos with my OH as we had a voucher that was going to run out. So I had chicken and sweetcorn - yes I know Nando's is high in calories and isn't good - but in my head I made up a reason why I should go to Nando's. Anyhow, I ate my meal and strangely didn't feel like I enjoyed it at all. What a waste. Then I've come home and the bar of chocolate in the fridge was screaming at me so I managed to talk myself into eating that too...

Oh dear. Epic fail. SO....

I've decided that I'm not going to carry on and get myself into a state, tomorrow is going to be a new day. I'll draw a line underneath today and start a fresh. Hopefully I won't have caused too much damage if I stick to TS 100% this week & lots of water. And if I keep writing in this diary it will help me keep on track.

See, I feel much better now for just talking about it, even if it is just to myself lol
