Getting rid of the dependancy on food

I'm on day 18 and have been struggling the last couple of days with food thoughts - had some work stress too which didnt help.

I'm just hang on to wanting to be 100% every day. That plus today i decided im going to do 12 weeks and thats it so at the end of this week i will be 25% of the way through and after that i will eat only fish chicken and turkey for ever and ever :) I think i'm losing the plot now.........

I knew i always used for pleasure so have to learn not to use it as a crutch. Its a journey.

Hi Tammy, its an emotional rollercoaster isnt it, I used to take one day at a time and tried not to think of the weeks ahead. I never thought Id do the first week then never thought id do 6 ultimately I wanted to do 12 but finished at about 21 weeks I think. so basically its just one foot in front of the other until you get to where you want to be and im sure you will get there good luck huni xx

Hi Tammy, i hear ya girlie, i cleaned out my fridge before i started. but for some reason still had one tomato, you wouldnt believe how much i lusted after that tomato everytime i went for water lol, all i can tell you is that i'm so happy i started this and i know if you can stick with it for the next twelve weeks you will too, so just breathe, push thru the hard days and you will be fine....xx

Thank you so much everybody, made it through and still 100% this week (3) seems harder than the 1st two but it is one day at a time. Just frustrated im feeling hungry on day 19 when i drink at least 3 litres in the day and then more in the evening.

congrats on sticking with it tammy, i get a rumbly tummy myself especially in the evening, but i do my best to ignore it, i also drink peppermint tea in the evening, i think drinking something warm helps...
